2025 Jayco Jay Feather Air 18MBH Review

The 2025 Jayco Jay Feather Air 18MBH is a well-appointed yet lightweight travel trailer that’s perfect for making off-grid family memories with the kids. This innovative travel trailer is a part of Jayco’s extensive Jay Feather Air line, and this model is available in four unique floor plans, but I was thrilled to be able to check out the family-oriented floorplan: the 18BH. This layout has a lot to offer in a compact package. With two double bunks at the rear and a queen Murphy bed over the sofa at the front, there’s plenty of sleeping room in this very space efficient RV.

As result, I’d say that the Jayco Jay Feather Air 18MBH offers very good value for its MSRP of $34,043. But let’s look into all the little details that make this such a nice travel trailer for small families and entry-level RVers.

Key Areas That RV Trader Reviews

RV Trader asked RV shoppers what was most important to them in their RV buying process. Potential buyers — like you — helped us to identify a list of six key areas that camping and travel enthusiasts always look at when they’re searching for the perfect RV: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, four-season capabilities, and storage space.

The RV Trader team then got to work providing you with an honest and unbiased evaluations. And that’s where I come in. I’m Lynne Fedorick, RV expert and enthusiast. I provide an honest look at RVs from an RV industry insider perspective. That way, you can learn the good, the bad, and the intriguing about any RVs I review. I inspect each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. And I always evaluate those six key areas that buyers have told us that they have in mind.

So, that said, let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Jay Feather Air 18MBH.

    Sleeping Space

Small families will love the Jay Feather Air 18MBH floorplan. At the front of the RV, there’s a Murphy bed tucked neatly above a flip-down sofa that’s perfect for lounging in front of the TV. This is great for daytime use. (Especially when you don’t necessarily want to deploy the Murphy bed.) However, when it’s time for sleep, deploying the Murphy bed is nearly effortless. It flips down nearly instantly into a comfortable queen bed. Each side has a CPAP-machine-ready shelf with a 110-volt plugin and a USB port. Above the shelve is a mirrored wardrobe cabinet that reflects light, helping to keep the Jay Feather Air 18MBH open and airy.

Each of the two spacious bunks tucked away in the back of this RV can hold up to 600 pounds. In addition, each bunk gets its own window. Plus, USB ports. Plus, a power outlet. And also a wall-mounted bag for storing necessities. Four-inch-thick, soft-touch mattresses ensure that whichever campers sleep there are comfy and cozy.

    Bathroom

The bathroom at the back of the Jay Feather Air 18MBH is surprisingly spacious. (Especially given the 23-foot length of this small travel trailer.) Inside, you can find ample room in the vanity cabinets, the medicine cabinet and on open shelves. There’s plenty of space to store towels, toilet paper, etc. Instead of a ceramic toilet, the Jay Feather Air 18MBH gets a more weight-conscious plastic seat.

    Living Area

The floorplan in the Jay Feather Air 18MBH is open concept. The main living area is shared by the kitchen and the living room. Jayco’s done some innovative things here. The biggest one is that they’ve replaced the standard bench dinette with freestanding stools and a bar-height counter (a potential workstation) that overlooks a huge window. The top of this counter/workstation lifts up to reveal sizable storage space for stashing laptops and related items. Beneath this very cool counter are shelves with cargo nets to keep things from bouncing off when the trailer is in motion.

A neat surprise was the two folding TV trays with drink holders tucked beneath the sofa. They could be deployed for holding snacks while watching a movie on the central 32-inch LED TV on the wall above the bar height counter. For me, their primary use would be as an additional workspace or another dining area, especially in inclement weather.

    Kitchen

The Jay Feather Air 18MBH kitchen is functional but minimal. Between the big 12-volt refrigerator and the cabinets, there’s plenty of storage space for food, dishes, and cooking utensils here. However, there isn’t much space around the small, round sink for allowing dishes to air dry. This is where a small flip-up counter would have come in handy.

There isn’t much space on either counter for setting up small appliances like a toaster, electric skillet, or coffee maker here either. A two-burner gas stove and a microwave provide a basic means to boil water or heat up meals.

However, those who love to cook camping meals outdoors probably won’t mind the lack of counter space in the Jay Feather Air 18MBH. After all, there’s a sturdy picnic table at most campsites that works perfectly for both preparing meals and dining.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The Jay Feather Air is definitely a four-season capable RV. Double-insulated basement cabinet doors, heated basement, tanks and valves and enclosed underbelly make it a fun basecamp for ice fishing, skiing, or winter hiking.

    Storage Space

Understandably, storage space can be lean at best in many small RVs. Jayco has done a great job of maximizing storage throughout this Jay Feather Air 18MBH. Outside, there’s a passthrough basement, plus a smaller cabinet at the rear of the RV. Inside, there is a plethora of storage options in cabinets and drawers. The front bedroom area has two wardrobes that have removable shelves. So, you can set them up to suit your own needs. In addition the nightstands on either side of the Murphy bed, each have a drawer for storing smaller items.

Beside the breakfast bar is a big cabinet with a removable shelf. Across from the bunks, there’s a floor to ceiling wardrobe with big drawers in the bottom for storing kid’s clothes or whatever you want. What the kitchen lacks in counter space it certainly makes up for with storage in large drawers and oversized cabinets.

Closing Notes on the Jay Feather Air 18MBH

The Jay Feather Air 18MBH could well be the ideal RV for a small family that loves to camp. While its amenities aren’t exactly lavish, they are far from being rigidly spartan. This travel trailer has everything you need to get away with the family for a weekend — no matter what time of year it is. Jayco includes a built-in ladder that makes it easy to get up to the PVC walkable roof for maintenance chores.

Jayco has invested a lot to produce quality products that consumers will be happy with. Unlike automobiles which are built by robots, RVs are hand-built by humans. Humans have good days and bad days and occasionally make mistakes. One thing I love about Jayco is that they do a great job of minimizing errors. They take good care of their employees, providing them with things like reasonable working hours, time off when they need it, and health care. In addition, each and every RV Jayco manufactures gets a detailed predelivery inspection at their dedicated RV inspection facility before it goes out for delivery. In this day and age, it seems unusual to see a company that goes to such lengths to produce the best products possible.

2025 Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS Review

The Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS just might be the perfect fifth wheel for family camping adventures. This RV would be ideal for the growing family that’s ready to upsize their trailer but not necessarily their tow vehicle. That’s because the space efficient GSL Light Duty 274 BHS weighs just over 7,500 pounds. Even loaded up, it’s easily towable by any half-ton pickup truck.

However, being light doesn’t mean a Starcraft GSL fifth wheel skimps on quality or amenities. There’s plenty to love here, including solid construction, a big open floorplan, kid- and pet-friendly living areas, loads of storage, and sleeping space for up to eight people.

So, let’s get rolling with my review of this comfortable and space efficient fifth wheel: the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS.

At a Glance: Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS

Whether you’re looking for a value-packed RV for seasonal or year-round family camping adventures, the 2025 Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS is fifth wheel to consider. The layout is fantastic for families. I loved the spacious kitchen where multiple chefs can collaborate to create delicious camping feasts. The living area and kitchen combine into one huge space where everyone (including the family dog) can have room to stretch out.

To top everything off, the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS is a well-built RV that’s easy to tow with a half-ton. So, no vehicle upgrade is necessary. With all that it offers (and an MSRP of just under $70,000), the GSL Light Duty 274BHS is a fantastic value for anyone looking for family camper with lots of sleeping space.

So, that said, let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS.

    Sleeping Space

There are oodles of sleeping space for happy campers in the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS. As you enter this RV, there are two double bunks with a 750-pound weight limit. They are also fitted with USB ports, plugins, and places to stash items like books or tablets. At the foot of the bunks is a cabinet that could be used to store clothing and other camping necessities

The master bedroom at the front of the RV features a full queen bed with lots of space underneath for storage. (Or a dog bed or two.) Each side of the bed has its own night table with a pop-up plug in for charging devices and a wall mounted 110-volt plug in. There’s plenty of room for a CPAP machine or books here. The wall at the foot of the bed has a place to mount a TV. There’s also a good-sized wardrobe with a mirror that — aside from letting you know what your fashion choices look like — helps to keep things light and bright. Over the bed, storage cabinets provide extra room for books or other camping necessities.

    Presto! Change-o!

In the living area, the dinette is easy to transform into a full double bed, providing sleeping for two. If you need even more sleeping space, the sofa bed quickly expands into a relatively comfortable queen bed.

    Bathroom

The bathroom in the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS is small but efficient. Still, there’s plenty of room to move around. And there is adequate storage for toiletries and towels in both the vanity and medicine cabinet. Starcraft adds some nice touches here, including towel bars and a toilet paper holder. While the shower isn’t huge, it’s certainly roomy enough that bigger people will still be able to shower comfortably.

    Living Area

The living area is open concept, with shared space for the living, dining, kitchen and bunk areas. Both the comfortable sofa and dinette benches are upholstered with soft, durable and stain-proof fabric that makes them very camping friendly. (As well as kid-friendly and pet-friendly — a trending theme.) The dinette transforms easily into sleeping space and drawer storage under each bench can hold bedding, board games, and other necessities.

On the exterior, the 18-foot power awning creates a great shaded living space outdoors.

    Kitchen

The kitchen in the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS features a farmhouse -style sink, a three-burner propane stove, a propane oven, a 9-cubic-foot microwave, and a 10-cubic-foot fridge. There’s impressive storage for food, dishes, and cooking tools in spacious cabinets and drawers. The amount of workspace in many RVs can be marginal at best. You won’t find that here. There is easily enough counter space in this kitchen to keep most camp chefs and any helpers happy. In case it’s still not enough, a small flip-up counter is ready to be deployed as needed. As mentioned earlier, this could also provide a nice little workstation space. Or just an additional dining spot. Any of those three options — extra cooking, working, or dining space — are all great to have.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274 BHS comes packed with features that make it for adventures, no matter what the weather is doing. It has a lot going for it: R-38 insulation in the ceiling; a heated and enclosed underbelly; R-9 insulation in the sidewalls; and double-insulated baggage doors. All help keep heat in and climate-controlled air flowing. Waste tank gate valves and the outside shower and docking station are all enclosed and protected so they won’t freeze. (That’s important.) When summer heat hits, there are two ducted air conditioners to keep the inside temperature refreshingly cool.

    Storage Space

Outside, generous passthrough storage in both the front and the rear sections of the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS provide plenty of storage for camp chairs and other gear. But there’s also enough room to stow an inflatable paddleboard or two. Or golf clubs. Or other sporting equipment. There’s also a cabinet under the front section of this fifth wheel that’s big enough to house a generator for boondocking.

Inside, the cabinet, drawer, under-bed, and dinette-bench storage should be perfect for most families. There are three large drawers in the kitchen that could be used for storing cooking utensils or pantry staples. Plus, there are cabinets above and under the counters. Both the bunkroom and the master bedroom have storage for clothing and camping necessities. A 2-inch receiver hitch at the back of this RV is ideal for mounting a bike hitch.

Quite simply, storage in the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS maximizes efficient use of space, and I was surprised how much storage there is.

Closing Notes on the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS

This would be such a fun RV for camping with the family, owing largely to its well-thought-out floorplan and use of space. At just under 32 feet long, the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS is the perfect size for those new to towing a fifth wheel. It’s long enough to have space for everyone yet short enough to back easily into a campsite. I always camp with dogs, so I loved all the durable, easy-to-clean surfaces throughout this RV, as well the screen door guard. The neutral decor is bright but is still easy on the eyes.

The ultra-light weight of the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS makes it easy to tow for most half-ton pickups. However, half-ton towability means it has a few minor drawbacks in other areas. For example, instead of having an easy-to-clean ceramic toilet, the GSL 274BHS gets a lighter (but harder to keep clean) plastic toilet.

The 1,945 pounds of  cargo carrying capacity isn’t bad at all for an RV in this weight class, but RV users will need to be weight conscious when they pack the Starcraft GSL Light Duty 274BHS up for a week or two off grid. The shared living and bunkroom area of this RV could be a blessing or a curse. If you’re camping with older kids, it could be a lot of fun. However, children who are still young enough to nap could have trouble sleeping so close to the main living area. Overall, this is a fantastic RV for families who want a spacious fifth wheel, but don’t want to upgrade to a three-quarters ton or one-ton pickup.

  • 2025 Entegra Coach Launch 19Y Review

2025 Entegra Coach Launch 19Y Review

Quite simply, the 2025 Entegra Launch is adventure-ready. This all-wheel-drive camper van is fully prepared to take you down roads less traveled and beyond. Built on a driver-friendly and powerful Mercedes-Benz 2500 chassis that’s equipped with a fantastic suspension system, the Launch 19Y is nimble and powerful enough to handle rough terrain or snowy mountain roads. However, Entegra Coach designers knew that for many outdoor enthusiasts, getting there is only half the adventure. So, they outfitted the 2025 Launch 19Y to be the perfect basecamp for weekend mountain biking, kayaking, or skiing adventures.

This comfortable yet cozy Class B provides all the simple pleasures you need. In fact, it’s pretty clear that the intent is to not load you down with amenities. The Launch 19Y is for an owner who wants to stay focused on enjoying outdoor activities.

    At a Glance: Launch 19Y

The Launch 19Y is a great little Class B. Even better, it’s perfect for use all year round. It’s biggest deficiency is its lack of kitchen appliances. Personally, I felt that it made sense to add the built-in two-burner induction cooktop to free up cabinet space, but I’d also like to see at least a microwave/convection/air fryer to give better cooking options when cooking indoors is necessary. All in all, it’s a perfect rig for getting out, doing some exploring, and enjoying all that nature has to offer. With an MSRP of $253,125, it’s about average value for everything that it offers.

At the rear of the Launch 19Y is a queen-size power bunk over the rear garage space. This very comfortable bed descends from the ceiling to whatever height you want at the touch of a button. Being able to drop the bed to suit specific needs means that mountain bikes or other gear in the garage beneath the bed can stay put while the occupants rest.

The rear doorway has its own roll down screen. So, if you desire, you can open up the rear doors, enjoy fresh air, and fall asleep to the melodic sounds of coyotes yipping. Or ocean waves crashing. Whatever music nature plays, you can soak it in without being bothered by bugs.

The efficient wet bath in the Launch 19Y is functional and surprisingly spacious. A pair of removable bamboo shelves could be used for storage. It’s a great place to dry swimsuits or wet gear on the go. A pull-out clothesline also provides an additional place to dry items when you’re on the road. In addition to a shower curtain that can be pulled across the wet bath area, the two wet bath doors are positioned to provide privacy from other areas of the RV.

Boondocking only lasts until you need to break camp to fill up with water. So, the shower in the Launch 19Y has an Aqua Miser that helps to conserve water. It works by recycling the cold water that comes through the pipes before the hot water can exit through the shower head. The Launch 19Y’s shower also has its own powered roof vent to help minimize moisture in the van. Beneath the shower in the wet bath is a cassette toilet, not fancy, but fabulous when you need it.

Of course, it’s always good to have options — especially when you’re active outdoors. So, the Launch 19Y also has a shower port in the garage area that could easily be set up with a privacy screen for outdoor showers. Or for washing muddy bikes. Or dirty dogs, all before loading them into the garage.

    Living Area

Flat out, the Launch 19Y was designed for people who love playing outdoors. With that being said, you won’t find a TV or even much room to watch one inside. However, the two reclining rear seats could provide a comfy spot to curl up and read a book on a rainy day. Mud and dirt are no problem. The rubber floors are easy to clean in this rig.

Outside is where it’s at with the Launch 19Y. A generous power awning with an LED strip can be extended to provide sheltered outdoor living space. I was delighted to discover a handy table that drops down from the back of the kitchen cabinet for an instant outdoor office desk or kitchen. Just add camping chairs, and you’re all set.

However, bugs can sometimes get in the way of outdoor enjoyment. Entegra Coach thought of this too. They put roll down screens over the entry door and rear doors let you enjoy fresh outdoor air without letting in any bugs.

    Kitchen

The Launch 19Y’s kitchen follows its minimalistic approach to camping. Appliances include a three-cubic-foot refrigerator that’s easily accessible from both inside and outside. There’s also a two-burner portable induction cooktop. An exterior 120-volt GFCI outlet gives you the option of cooking outdoors. It sets up on the legless dropdown table. This means you can fry up the fish you just caught without living with the smell inside the RV.

Kitchen space is maximized with an extendable countertop that creates lots of room for food preparation or cooking. The Launch 19Y’s lack of a microwave means there’s more room to store food, cooking tools and/or other necessities. What the kitchen lacks in appliances, it makes up for with extreme versatility. In the simplest terms, it trades a microwave/convection for storage space. If you need additional cooking options, there are ample plugins and counter space for them. It’s worth noting that even though the Launch 19Y is set up with up to 500 watts of solar power, any additional kitchen appliances would need to be energy conscious.

    Four-Season Capabilities

I love that the Launch comes equipped with good insulation, tank heating pads, and an efficient Timberline diesel heater. It also has rugged nonslip sidestep boards. These make getting in and out a lot easier when conditions are icy. Features like this would make it a fantastic basecamp for ice fishing or skiing.

    Storage Space

Under the power-lift bunk of this Class B, the Launch has a garage. I love that.  A great addition is the three rows of adjustable D-rings on the floor for tethering bikes or other gear. This would be especially useful when taking the Launch 19Y over the rough roads it was designed for. The addition of one or two optional storage benches would provide more storage space for organizing gear too. Net storage bags under the bed and on the rear doors let you keep smaller items where you can find them easily. Being able to adjust the bunk height anywhere you need it lets you keep items inside the RV. This could be especially handy when overnighting somewhere on a road trip.

    Beyond the Garage

In addition to the garage area, there are loads of other storage options in the Launch 19Y. The massive storage area over the cab of the Launch could be used to store camp chairs, and/or clothing. But that’s not all: The walls of the Launch are lined with gorgeous, durable, solid wood cabinets, with pop-up handles. As previously mentioned, the wet bath area has two bamboo shelves that allow it to double as a storage area. The Launch 19Y would benefit from the addition of a few hooks for hanging jackets or dog leashes.

That being said, you might want to bring more stuff with you. The small but mighty Launch 19Y’s 5,000-pound towing capacity enables you to bring bikes, boats, and whatever toys don’t fit into its handy rear garage area.

Closing Notes on the Launch 19Y

    Drive Quality

The Launch 19Y’s Mercedes-Benz 2500 chassis is small enough to be nimble. And it’s agile enough to get you off the beaten path. Rugged BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, ride-smoothing Koni shocks, and an oversized stabilizer bar create the feeling that it belongs there. Not only that, but a raised driving position gives a superb view of the road. Features like comfy, adjustable seats, a 360-degree backup camera and brake assist help you feel that you belong there too.

I have to admit that I was very impressed with Entegra Coach’s choice to build the Launch 19Yon a Mercedes Benz 2500 Diesel chassis. It’s a great chassis that’s easy for most RVers to drive comfortably.

    Build Quality and Decor

The Launch 19Y’s floorplan is utilitarian but efficient. Really, it’s perfect for one or two adventurous RVers. It’s easy cleaning interior is only available in one option — the deep natural tones of the Serenity palette. But not to worry, this dark yet soothing color scheme is perfect for the Launch 19Y. That’s because there’s no stopping dust and dirt from sneaking into an RV when you’re exploring back roads. Dust and dirt are part of the experience you can never completely avoid. The Serenity color scheme works great in minimizing its appearance.

    Comfort and Amenities

Like many other Class Bs, the Launch 19Y is kind of spartan when it comes to amenities. It’s there to do a job. That job is to get you where you’re going safely and provide you with a neat little home away from home. It does this very well. The Launch 19Y has every amenity you need to enjoy the great outdoors and be comfortable doing so. However, it keeps things simple so you can focus on what you love doing.

The Entegra Coach Launch 19Y is the perfect RV for adventure seeking athletes whose idea of fun might be scrambling up a multi-pitch climbing route, catching waves on a surfboard, or making fresh tracks on an early morning ski-run. But it would also be equally at home nestled on the shore of a remote and peaceful lake for a weekend getaway.

Make no mistake: The 2025 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45D is a top-of-the-line luxurious Class A diesel pusher — one that pairs uncompromising amenities with head-turning style. Abundant storage and a sumptuously outfitted cockpit area make it the perfect RV for extended excursions or full-time living. But it doesn’t stop there. This spectacular motorhome is filled with wonderful surprises. There’s Italian leather furniture. There’s a massive master bedroom suite. And much, much more.

The Entegra Coach Cornerstone sits at the peak of Entegra’s RV lineup on a decked-out Freightliner chassis. Quite frankly, it has “all the things” — and then adds some additional nice surprises. This Cornerstone 45D is priced — appropriately — with an MSRP of $963,631.

    Best For

This RV is perfect for singles or couples who want to downsize from a house and hit the road full time. It’s also an outstanding choice for singles or couples who love to travel and take extended road trips.

So, that said, let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45D.

    Sleeping Space

The Cornerstone 45D boasts a spacious master bedroom with a king size bed. On each side of the bed is a nightstand (with plug-ins and USB ports) that could easily hold a CPAP machine. At night, you can cuddle up and watch TV on the 32-inch smart TV in the wardrobe cabinet.

Accommodating an overnight guest or two is no problem. The queen, pull-out sofa bed provides additional sleeping space in the living room. Its combination air and pillow top mattress promises to help guests to drift off to sleep comfortably.

A note on sleeping space: It’s good to have options when it comes to sleeping areas. Having a drop-down bunk over the cockpit could possibly an owner to accommodate both grandchildren and their parents.

    Bathroom

This Class A features a spacious full bathroom located at the rear of the coach. And when I say spacious, I mean it. This bathroom is larger than the bathroom in many conventional homes. Its glass-enclosed shower walls are lined with gorgeous Italian tiles. On one shower wall, there’s a wooden bench that can be deployed when you just want to sit and enjoy a relaxing spa shower in your home on wheels. Tall people will love this shower because there’s so much space. The wall that faces the shower has a double vanity with plenty of storage both in the vanity and in the medicine cabinet above it.

The second bathroom is actually a powder room with a toilet and sink and oodles of cabinet storage. Both bathrooms in the Cornerstone 45D have top of the line ceramic toilets.

    Living Area

The living area of the Cornerstone 45D features a plush, ultra-soft, Italian leather sofa bed. Across from the sofa bed are matching 74-inch power theater seats that have bells and whistles. There is heating. There are USB ports. And there’s even a flip-down armrest that contains cup holders and storage for remotes and other small items.

Across from the theater seats, a big 43-inch TV ascends from a televator cabinet with the touch of a button. Having a small crowd over to watch the game? Don’t worry about seating space. The front seats in this RV turn around to provide two more comfortable, reclining armchairs. The dining table is integrated with a buffet style cabinet and extends for seating for up to five people.

Outside, a large awning provides additional living space outdoors where you can watch your favorite shows on — or tailgate with — a 43-inch smart TV with a sound bar.

    Kitchen

I loved the kitchen in the Cornerstone 45D. Quite simply, it has everything I love in a kitchen. This kitchen features generous counter space. It has a farmhouse style sink and a cool pull-out peninsula. When deployed, the peninsula provides even more counter space, as well as additional kitchen storage.

There’s also a lot to love in this kitchen with a huge pantry, pull-out spice cabinet, and all kinds of handy built-in features in the solid wood cabinets. I also loved the pull-out trash chute and wine glass rack.

Appliances in the Cornerstone 45D include a two-burner induction stovetop, a 1.9 cubic-foot microwave/convection oven, and a residential-style French door refrigerator with a big freezer drawer beneath it. However, I admit I’d like to see a three-burner stovetop. Although a two-burner stove will get you through most meal prep, it’s good to have options. Sure, it could be argued there’s loads of space for a hotplate. But adding another burner to the Cornerstone 45D would eliminate the need to pack another appliance with you.

    Four-Season Capabilities

Cold morning floors are a thing of the past with the Cornerstone’s Aqua-Hot heated tile flooring. Additionally, the R16-R33 insulation package, heated tanks and two blissfully quiet air conditioners help to give the Entegra Cornerstone 45D robust four-season capabilities.

This Entegra Coach diesel pusher has a total of 400 watts of solar power that provides freedom to go off-grid. However, it’s the massive 12500-watt diesel generator that makes boondocking for extended periods entirely possible.

    Storage Space

The 2025 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45D has more storage space than any RV I have seen. It starts with massive basement storage compartments, which also have electronic, click-lock mechanisms. Power sliding drawers inside the basement storage compartments could hold golf clubs. And fishing gear. And everything else that you might want to bring. But it’s kept in an organized and easily accessible way. There’s also a unique electric cooler on its own power drawer that can be used to keep beverages within easy reach.

Inside, the Cornerstone 45D find unique ways to integrate storage. Throughout the RV, cabinets abound. In the master bedroom, more storage can be found under the bed and in the huge walk-in closet. The walk-in closet that dominates the rearmost area of the Cornerstone 45D also contains a decent sized, stacking washer and dryer. This ultra-efficient location for laundry machines means you don’t need to tote laundry around for folding and storage. With the addition of a folding table, you could get the laundry done and stored in the drawers — or the eight feet of wall-to-wall closet rods in the walk-in closet. This motorhome gives you these kind of storage options.

Closing Notes on the Cornerstone 45D

    View from the Cockpit

The 2025 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45D’s cockpit was clearly designed to keep you comfortable and safe on the road. From the driver’s perspective, visibility is fantastic. Everything is within reach. The 10-foot windshield is made from specialized, zero-distortion glass imported from Turkey. Mirrors are set up to be viewed through the windshield, instead of the side windows to maximize safety. A premium backup camera provides a 360-degree view of what’s around the coach. On top of that, every control is within easy reach. (Even for those with smaller stature.)

Both driver and passenger get reclining plush captain’s chairs that feature power adjustment and heating. Everything is so perfectly comfortable. It’s actually easy to visualize craving even more miles after driving this RV for hours.

But there are plenty of things to enjoy in park, as well. Flooring is ceramic tile in a driftwood plank design, even in the slide-out. The Cornerstone 45D’s lack of carpet (and laminate flooring) means its floors will look like new for many years with very little maintenance.

    Summing Up the Cornerstone 45D

As a retired firefighter, I would love to see all RVs come with a fire extinguisher that’s right at hand in the cockpit, the kitchen, and the living area. RVs (especially those designed for retired folks) should have at least two doors for safe emergency egress. This is one area Entegra Coach could do a little better.

Overall, Entegra Coach has really knocked it out of the park with the Cornerstone 45D. Extensive amenities and storage combine with thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship to leave absolutely nothing to be desired. I’ll admit I loved this RV at first sight. Everything about it is gorgeous. The only thing that prevents me from being completely smitten with this RV is its $963,631 price tag. (Oh well, I can always dream.) But for new full-timers looking to swap a house for a motorhome that offers similar residential offerings, this would be a great fit.

    The RV Trader Process

RV Trader asked RV shoppers what was most important to them in their RV buying process. Potential buyers — like you — helped us to identify a list of six key areas that camping and travel enthusiasts always look at when they’re searching for the perfect RV: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, four-season capabilities, and storage space.

The RV Trader team then got to work providing you with an honest and unbiased evaluations. And that’s where I come in. I’m Lynne Fedorick, RV expert and enthusiast. Whenever I review any RV, my goal is always to perform the review objectively. I evaluate everything on the RV from top to bottom. All without any undue influence from manufacturers or retailers.

RV Trader sent me to the Forest River showroom in Elkhart, Indiana to look at 2024 RVs from the diverse brands included in the Forest River family. I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.

So, let’s take a closer look at the Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S.

    Sleeping Space

At the front of the Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S, you’ll find the bedroom — with its own entrance door. It’s handy to have direct access to the outdoors from the bedroom. And it makes good sense from a safety standpoint too. The queen bed is the feature of this bedroom, which also has a night stand on each side that has a USB port and plug in for CPAP. Over the queen bed, an expansive window lets you enjoy morning views or starry evening skies.

Additionally, I was glad to see so much storage here. You find it above the bed. In the nightstands. In a spacious wardrobe and under the bed. For those who like to watch movies in bed, the wall at the foot of the bed is prepped for a TV.

    Bathroom

You can enter the bathroom from either the living area or the bedroom via one of two pocket doors. I was amazed by the clever use of space in this passthrough bathroom. It has a generously sized shower with the ingenious Water Miser. If you’re not familiar with it, this device diverts water that would otherwise be wasted while waiting for the shower to warm up back to the freshwater tank. The shower isn’t the highest that I’ve seen, but most people under 6 foot 3 inches will be able to stand up comfortably in it. The ceramic, pedal-flush toilet is perched next to the shower.

Along one wall, you’ll find a single sink vanity with lots of storage for cleaning supplies underneath. Above you’ll see a mirrored medicine cabinet with room to store grooming essentials, medication, et cetera. I loved that there is a roomy linen cabinet for storing towels, as well as a handy access point for the hot water tank in this bathroom.

    Living Area

The living area of the Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S is part of an open floorplan that includes the dining area and kitchen. The slide-out of this RV holds twin theater seats, with a central console for storing the smaller necessities for relaxation. Each seat has its own beverage holder and a small, detachable Lagun-style tray that can be set up as needed for snacks in front of the TV or even remote work. What could be cooler than that? How about a wireless device charger built into the central console? What’s more, the theater seats are perfectly positioned for viewing the 32-inch, 12-volt smart TV that’s positioned above the dinette in between two cabinets.

The dinette table features a nearly effortless transformation to a short bed that would be suitable for up to two kids. Underneath each seat bench is a drawer for easy-access storage for camping necessities.

    Kitchen

The kitchen of the Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S is located along its rear wall. A window above the kitchen work area helps to ensure that you won’t miss a wandering deer — or any of other wonders of nature — while you’re doing dishes at the farmhouse-style sink, or preparing a feast on the three-burner propane stove or gas oven. The kitchen is also outfitted with a microwave oven and an 11-cubic-foot, 12-volt refrigerator that has a door that opens from either side so you can even access it when you’re outside.

The solid surface countertop has a pop-up power tower, so there’s no need to camp without your food processor or Nespresso maker. There’s storage space in this efficient little kitchen for all your kitchen tools, dishes, and food.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S is outfitted with an air conditioner, 35,000 Btu furnace, heated tanks, and an insulation package that makes it well-suited for four-season camping where winters are fairly mild.

    Storage Space

Storage in this RV is impressive! It starts outside where there’s a huge basement storage area that could easily hold all your camping necessities and more. This area will easily store chairs, fishing gear, an inflatable paddleboard, and more. Inside, there are cabinets throughout that have oodles of room for everything you want to bring along.

Closing Notes on the Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S

The Rockwood Mini Lite 2515S packs a lot of features into a small, lightweight RV. The best part though might be that it’s available at a mid-price point. Its light-colored decor and natural looking hardwood cabinetry is designed with an enduring style. Easy-care fabrics and flooring, an outdoor shower, and D-ring tie outs make this RV a good choice for dog lovers who want to get the whole family — four legs and all — out on the weekend.

So, let’s take a closer look at the Crusader 375FLS.

    Sleeping Space

Beyond a pale colored door at the rear of the 375FLS, you’ll find the master bedroom featuring a walk-around king bed. Here, plenty of windows create an inviting space. (While blackout roller shades help to ensure peaceful, uninterrupted sleep.) On either side of the bed, you’ll find a nightstand with USB ports that could hold a CPAP machine. To the right of the bed is the wardrobe closet. While it is prepped for a washer and dryer, there’s not an incredible amount of room. Even so, at the foot of the bed there is a dresser that can be used to store smaller clothing items. Beneath the bed you’ll find more generous storage space.

In the living room, two sleeper sofas that pull out and create sleeping space for four additional guests. Each has a convenient space underneath to store bedding and pillows.

    Bathroom

The bathroom in the Crusader 375FLS is spacious enough that anyone under 6 foot 5 inches will feel comfortable — even in the shower, which has sliding glass doors and a shower seat. There’s an EasyCare porcelain toilet and plenty of cabinet storage in and above the vanity. There’s even another cabinet above the toilet to ensure all your essentials have a place.

    Living Area

As I mentioned in the intro, the living room at the front of the Crusader 375FLS is an absolute showstopper. It’s dominated by an entertainment center that includes a 70-inch TV over a cozy 15,000 Btu fireplace. It’s flanked by two pull-out sofa beds and faced by comfy theater seating. The theater seats have handy beverage holders and a central storage console. It’s a perfect place for guests to visit or sleep over. The 7-foot-plus ceiling of the living room adds a really residential feel here.

Two 15-foot awnings with awning lights also add sheltered outdoor living space.

    Kitchen

You’ll find all the necessities to entertain guests in the central kitchen in the Crusader 375FLS. There’s a modern dining table and chair set under a modern light fixture in the kitchen slide-out. This does a lot to add a chic vibe to this kitchen. But there are a lot of other nice touches. There are the stainless-steel, residential-style appliances, including a 16-cubic-foot, French-door refrigerator, a four-burner cooktop, a full-size oven with a warming drawer, and an air fryer/microwave. Food preparation will be a breeze with this kitchen’s efficient triangle full of expansive white, solid-surface counters, and complete with a farmhouse-style sink and pull-down faucet.

There’s also plenty of storage space for food storage, kitchen tools, and more in cabinets throughout the kitchen. (Plus, a walk-in pantry with oodles of shelves.) A four-bottle wine rack shelf make this RV more adult-oriented, especially if you’re planning a personal wine tour.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The Crusader 375FLS comes outfitted with two air conditioners, a gas furnace, and an electric fireplace. But what really bolsters its four-season capabilities are its enclosed underbelly, tank heaters, and insulation package.

    Storage Space

There isn’t an excessive amount of storage space in this RV, especially for hanging clothes such as jackets and coats. However, it’s certainly adequate and what there is can be maximized — easily. For instance, with a simple addition of coat hooks in the pantry area, this area could be used for jacket storage.

Outside, a roomy passthrough basement storage cabinet is big enough to hold camping chairs, sporting equipment, and whatever else you need to store.

Final Thought on the Crusader 375FLS

Finding an RV that they can truly feel comfortable in can be difficult for taller RVers. It’s just a fact. But — forgive the pun — this is where the Prime Time RV Crusader 375FLS stands out. This fifth wheel has plenty of headroom throughout and a full-size king bed that lets you stretch out in comfort.

I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.

So, let’s take a closer look at the Cedar Creek 391WOW.

    Sleeping Space

You’ll find a spacious bedroom at the front of the 391WOW. In keeping with the luxurious amenities in this fifth wheel, the front wall next to the East-West king bed is a wall-to-wall mirrored closet. Behind the doors are beautifully made shelves and enough storage space for two people’s clothing, shoes, and more. It’s also where you’ll find a washer/dryer hookup. A cordless vacuum is also included to help to keep everything clean and tidy. If that’s not enough, there’s additional storage under the king bed.

Another nice touch is the clever, concealed storage area beneath the top of the nine-drawer bedroom dresser that could be used for storing jewelry or laptops when you’re not home. Also, those who enjoy relaxing in bed and watching TV from time to time will appreciate that Cedar Creek 391WOW includes a smart TV in the bedroom.

    Bathroom

This fifth wheel has a spacious bathroom with lots of places to store towels and all of your necessities. The double vanity works perfectly for busy mornings. Above the vanity, there’s a mirrored three-door medicine cabinet with oodles of room for toiletries and medications. Beneath the vanity counter, there’s even more storage space in six roomy drawers and two cabinets. The 6-foot-7-inch high, spa-style shower has an attractive wood shower bench that folds neatly out of the way when not in use. The ceramic toilet in this bathroom is well placed next to the far wall. The floating shelf and hooks on the wall behind it can hold towels.

    Living Area

The living area in the Cedar Creek 391WOW is shared with the kitchen area. Two power-reclining theater seats allow you to customize your comfort. They also feature USB ports for charging devices and a central console with hidden storage to help keep track of remote controls. The theater seating is perched directly across from a cozy fireplace and a 60-inch smart TV with soundbar. An EZ-Glide sofa bed stores bedding underneath while making the living room into a comfortable conversation pit. The wall about the sofa bed holds storage cabinets the sofa bed

But my favorite part about the living space is behind the entertainment center. A quick pull on a secret lever hidden inside the fireplace mantle reveals a huge, hidden walk-in pantry. There, you have plenty of additional storage for food, cleaning supplies that you don’t use all the time. It is also an ideal place for a safe for your valuables.

    Kitchen

The gorgeous kitchen in the Cedar Creek 391WOW was obviously designed after consultation with RVers who love cooking. It manages to hit all the marks when it comes to an RV dream kitchen. It’s well laid out. The plan circles a simple, yet practical island that provides counter space, storage, and additional seating with two counter-height chairs. This makes a great spot for breakfast or when you’re cooking for guests. As you cook, they can keep you company in the kitchen. (And maybe peel some potatoes.) With expansive, solid-surface counters and a top of the line Furrion gas cooktop, cooking a Thanksgiving feast would be a treat. Not only that, but with the 12-volt, 16-cubic-foot French door fridge (with a double drawer freezer) you could even do it off-grid, using solar power.

The farmhouse-style sink at the back of the kitchen gives whoever’s washing up a view from the window. I’ve already mentioned the murphy pantry, but that’s just the start of kitchen storage in this RV. There are so many cabinets here. Many have features like beautifully finished hardwood drawers and a pull-out waste bin — with an ingenious mounting system for the cutting board that lets you easily dispose of scraps.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The 391WOW is a fantastic example of a four-season RV. All the tanks have heating pads. The enclosed underbelly has four removable panels for easy access underneath the RV. There’s a gas furnace. A 15,000 Btu fireplace. Even an electric heater in the bedroom — all which will help keep you toasty all winter. In summer, there are dual air conditioners. What’s more, temperature control can be done via a wall mounted touch pad, or a phone app. A good insulation package helps to make sure the interior of the RV maintains its temperature.

    Storage Space

The incredible storage space in the 391WOW starts outside. There’s a huge basement storage area under the front of the RV, and a massive passthrough storage area just behind that. At the rear of the fifth wheel, there’s a double bike rack hitch mount.

I’ve already talked about the impressive amount of storage inside this RV. In the walk-in closet. On shelves. Under the bed. In cabinets and dressers and that massive Murphy pantry. The Cedar Creek 391WOW certainly uses every conceivable means to ensure that no one will run out of storage space in this RV. So, when I say that this RV has a huge WOW factor, I really mean it.

  • 2024 Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK Review

2024 Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK Review

Over the process of this review, the 39-foot Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK quickly became one of my favorite models in the Prime Time RV lineup. Filled with luxurious surprises, its thoughtful features include modern decor, fireplaces in both the living room and the master bedroom, and an efficient U-shaped kitchen. This deluxe travel trailer has no problem creating a distinct residential feel.

But this RV has a lot more in store for anyone looking for an upscale travel trailer. Let’s take a closer look at this fantastic RV.

    At a Glance: Lacrosse 3411RK

The Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK is a stylish, well-appointed RV. It comes with a great floorplan, quality construction, storage, and amenities. However, it lost a quarter of a rating because the oriented strand board (OSB) under-bed storage area could have a more finished appearance. It was disappointing to see that this feature doesn’t share the polished, upscale appearance that distinguishes the rest of the Lacrosse 3411RK.

    Check the Specs

    • Sleeping capacity: 4
    • Hitch weight: 1,045 pounds

    • Roof PVC walkable
    • 60-inch adjustable mount smart TV and soundbar in living area-viewable from everywhere
    • 17-cubic-feet, 12-volt refrigerator/freezer
    • Spacious pantry
    • U-shaped kitchen
    • Easy glide sofa bed
    • Prepped for washer/dryer
    • Enclosed underbelly
    • Tank heaters
    • Fireplace in bedroom
    • Doggy D-ring dog tie out
    • Outside shower
    • Exterior TV mount
    • Wi-Fi booster/5G prep

    Benefits

    • Central living area
    • Exterior storage
    • Bathroom acts as ensuite
    • Motion detecting lights in key areas
    • Easy care surfaces
    • Timeless decor

    Challenges

    • Carpet in the slide-out area may not be every RV owner’s favorite.
    • No ladder.
    • Unfinished-looking under-bed storage area is a little disappointing, specifically because of the contrast in quality you find almost everywhere else in the Lacrosse 3411RK.

    Best For

    • Road-tripping singles or couples who want a luxurious travel trailer that’s half-ton and three-quarter ton towable. The Lacrosse 3411RK provides a lot of space, and with a lower sleeping capacity, its designed to allow you to enjoy that space. There’s no need to compete with other passengers.
    • Grandparents or families with one or two young children who camp with them occasionally will love this setup.

So, let’s take a closer look at the Lacrosse 3411RK.

    Sleeping Space

Sleeping accommodations in the Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK are limited to two areas. There’s the spacious, luxurious master bedroom and the EZ-Glide sofa. Let’s start in the bedroom, which is accessed through the walkthrough bathroom that serves as an ensuite.

The highlight here is the king bed. It has a barn-board-style headboard that’s situated in the front driver’s side slide-out. To the right of the bed, you’ll find generous, dual wardrobe cabinets on either side of a very cool and unique window seat. (This space looks perfect for relaxing with a book or sitting while you fold laundry on the bed.) There’s even a handy overhead shelf to store books or magazines. It’s also an ideal place for furry family members to enjoy the view during the day or curl up beside the bed at night. On either side of the window seat are shelves with charging ports for electronic devices.

Taking Cozy to a New Luxurious Level

Even so, the most outstanding feature of the bedroom might be the cozy fireplace at the foot of the bed. In addition to adding a cozy ambiance to the bedroom, it can keep things toasty on winter camping excursions. The fireplace console acts as a dresser too, with seven drawers for storing smaller clothing items. There are plug-ins for a TV next to the natural wood mantle of the fireplace, so you could add a TV and store it on the bed during travel.

The living area has a 64-inch EZ-Glide sofa bed that’s surprisingly comfortable and would be perfect for accommodating up to two kids or grandkids.

    Bathroom

The bathroom in the Lacrosse 3411RK feels spacious. People under 6 feet 3 inches can easily shower comfortably in the big, well-lit shower. The toilet here is an easy-care ceramic pedal flush toilet. The bathroom is where you’ll find a handy wardrobe closet that’s prepped for washer/dryer, including a shelf that could be used for hamper storage. The light, fresh color scheme and skylight keep things light and bright. In addition you’ll find enough storage under the sink and in the medicine cabinet to store most of your camping necessities.

    Living Area

An open floorplan integrates the living, dining, and kitchen areas of the Lacrosse 3411RK. A driver’s side slide-out holds twin theater seats that have a central console for storing items like remote controls. The massive, 60-inch TV over the fireplace in the passenger slide out is adjustable for viewing from anywhere in the living area, dining area or kitchen. Modern cabinets over the pull-out sofa are big enough to hold games or whatever else you need to store. Light, natural colors and modern decor work together to give the entire RV an open and airy aesthetic.

The light colored legless dinette table and four minimalist comfortable dining chairs are perfect for enjoying camp meals in comfort and style. This dinette also lends itself to transforming into a fantastic workspace as needed.

    Kitchen

This U-shaped kitchen was clearly designed for cooks. There’s a huge pantry and lots of cabinet storage. With an abundance of solid surface countertops there’s also plenty of workspace. A 17-cubic-foot, French-door refrigerator, a three-burner cooktop, a mid-sized gas oven, and a small microwave oven mean you can create fabulous camping feasts. A large, farmhouse-style sink with pull-down faucet faces the living area, so whoever does the dishes can easily converse with others.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The climate control system in the Lacrosse 3411RK includes up to two air conditioners, a gas furnace, and two fireplaces to help keep you comfortable throughout three seasons of the year. However, the Lacrosse 3411 also comes equipped with an enclosed underbelly, tank heaters and extended season insulation package that help make it a four-season RV where winter temperatures stay above -15 degrees.

    Storage Space

Outside this RV, there is generous storage in two basement cabinets. Inside, from the front bedroom to the rear kitchen, there’s oodles of cabinet, shelf and drawer storage for one or two people. A cool feature is a pass-through cabinet in the kitchen peninsula which could find a multitude of uses, including as a movie night snack cabinet.

One More Thing About the Lacrosse 3411RK

The Prime Time RV Lacrosse 3411RK rides on a lifted, dual-axle suspension that helps reduce sway in windy conditions or on pitted campground roads. So, you can expect to be as comfortable towing down the road as you are parked off it.

Quite frankly, it didn’t feel as if Forest River cut any corners in the BH374. Best For

    • A family ready to camp with extended family members.
    • Full timers who have every intention of hosting a crowd on the road. The Rockwood Signature 374BH would be great for grandparents who want an RV that can house the grandkids — even lots of them.

So, let’s take a closer look at the Rockwood Signature 374BH.

    Sleeping Space

The Rockwood Signature 374 BH sleeps up to six, between the master bedroom and bunkhouse alone. But that’s not all the sleeping space this luxurious RV has to offer. Two additional overnight guests can enjoy the comfortable — I tested it — pull-out sofa bed. Plus, two more kids can easily fit on the dinette sleeper.

The 374 BH’s master bedroom has a full queen bed with under-bed storage and shelves with USB chargers and power outlets on either side. There’s nothing flimsy about this bed either. It’s built on an aluminum frame that’s built to last. The bedroom has oodles of storage. There’s a mirrored wardrobe and lots of other drawers and cabinets for storing necessities. A pocket door separates the master bedroom from the shared ensuite bathroom.

The bunk room’s bottom bunk is a double bed. And there’s a much larger bunk on top. With the extra spacious top bunk, the bunkroom could easily sleep more than four kids. (I can imagine an entire group of cousins having loads of fun here.) Not only that, there’s a 32-inch TV in the bunkroom, along with charging outlets in both the top and bottom bunks. As an added convenience for kids in the bunkroom, the pantry and fridge are both within easy reach of the pocket door that separates their room from the kitchen.

    Bathroom

The bathroom of the 374BH is spacious (for an RV bathroom). As previously mentioned, it does double duty as an ensuite for the master bedroom, so it has two pocket doors that can be used for privacy as needed. (Especially, if you have that pack of kids/grandkids.) Storage is generous here with numerous cabinets, including an over-sink medicine cabinet and a nice linen cabinet for storing towels, et cetera. The toilet is ceramic, which makes it much easier to keep clean than a plastic one would be. A skylight keeps the wrap-around acrylic shower well lit.

Another thoughtful touch is a Shower Miser that helps reduce water waste. It’s a neat idea that allows you to flip a lever to send the clean water that runs while you wait for the shower to warm up back to the freshwater tank instead of down the drain and into the gray water tank.

    Living Area

The living area is nicely laid out for family get-togethers. Seating includes the dinette and a comfy sofa, which, unfortunately isn’t perfectly positioned for TV viewing. However, the 374BH can also be ordered with theater seats and a table. Another possibility is a table, chairs, and bench combo in place of the dinette. A large smart TV and a fireplace set in a white hearth are there to keep everyone entertained and cozy on rainy days. (Or when it’s just too hot to be outside.)

Ultimately though, for most RVers, camping is about spending time outdoors. And the 374BH has a 20-foot power awning to help extend your living area outdoors.

    Kitchen

The kitchen in the 374BH is definitely designed to appeal to camp chefs. The multiple windows over the kitchen counter keep things bright. (While also allowing you to keep an eye on the kids while you’re preparing their lunch.) The kitchen triangle here is well thought out with the huge Magic Chef 12-volt fridge, pull-out pantry and pull-out trash all situated close to the double bowl farmhouse-style sink. A pull-down faucet allows camp chefs to fill tall pots or rinse dishes easily.

Two pop-up power towers punctuate each end of the expansive countertop. So, there are lots of places to plug in small appliance cords. There’s also a three-burner stove, large gas oven, and an eye-level microwave/convection/air fryer. Because it’s good to have options when you’re whipping up a feast for a hungry crowd.

And options are what the 374BH gives you —inside and out. Outside, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen with a two-burner gas cooktop, a bar fridge, and a grill. Add a portable barbecue, and you’ll be perfectly set to cook an entire meal outdoors, without having to run back and forth to check on things in the kitchen. It’s a well thought out setup.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The 374BH is a true four-season RV built with plenty of features that make it a true 4-season RV. There are two air conditioners, a furnace and a 5,000 Btu electric fireplace, to keep you cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Not only that, but the Insulation package on this fifth wheel is rated as R-7 Side Wall, R-12 Floor and R-14 Roof. With a fully enclosed underbelly and heated tanks, the 374BH is designed to be enjoyed all year round.

    Storage Space

Storage space is where all too many RVs come up short on. Not this one. Every area of the Rockwood 374BH has storage, including storage under the queen bed. The master bedroom gets a mirrored wardrobe and plenty of drawers and cabinets. There is also a wall of cabinets in the living area that includes a shelf with a charging port for devices. There’s storage space beneath the sofa bed that could be used for storage of bedding and pillows. Beneath the dinette, there’s plenty of accessible storage. It all adds up, especially with the wealth of cabinet and pantry storage in the kitchen.

In the bunk room, a wardrobe has plenty of shelves and drawers to store clothing and other items. I loved that this wardrobe is prepped for a washer and dryer to clean camping clothes and linens.

Outside, you’ll find more than enough basement storage to stash sporting gear, camping chairs and everything else you need to set up the ultimate camping trip.

Last Notes About the Rockwood Signature 374BH

Along with the floorplan, I was really impressed with the quality of construction on the Rockwood Signature 374 BH. It’s built on an impervious framework of aluminum instead of wood. The only structural wood is its subfloor of tongue and groove plywood. The roofing material is PVC, which is easy for RV owners to maintain and repair.

2024 Forest River Sabre 25RLS Review

Are you looking for a half-ton towable fifth wheel that strikes a balance between affordability and luxurious features? You’ll definitely want to check out the 2024 Forest River Sabre 25RLS. This innovative 30-foot RV has lots of unique features, including a fully adjustable, wheeled table that takes the place of the dinette that you’d normally find in a fifth wheel this size. The table can be used with the theater seats, the sofa, or even be raised to be set up with some folding chairs, making a more formal indoor dining arrangement.

But as you’ll see, that’s just one of the nice surprises in the Sabre 25RLS. (Just wait till you get to the kitchen.) We’ll check them all out together in this review. So let’s get started.

    At a Glance: Sabre 25RLS

The Forest River Sabre 25RLS impressed me with an abundance of amazing features. (We’ll talk more about those in detail in a moment. The kitchen is full of ingenious surprises) Even so, there are a couple of things I felt could have been done better in this RV. First of all, when I attempted to deploy the multifunctional table (which I’m a fan of), several screws fell out of the bottom of the table, causing it to fall off its base. MDF is not a suitable material for furniture that is going to receive frequent manipulation and adjustment. It tends to return to its sawdust origins under any duress. Recommended fixes for this could be installing screw anchors. Or simply building the tabletop from laminated wood like butcher’s block or solid wood such as lightweight hardwood like poplar or birch.

Similarly, the wooden handrail is precarious looking. Located next to the stairs to the bedroom. It just doesn’t look like it would sustain the weight of a person who needed to use it. At least not more than a few times. I would love to see more solid anchoring for this handrail.

    Challenges

I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.

    Sleeping Space

Sleeping space in the Forest River Sabre 25RLS is in two places. The first is the bedroom at the front of the RV. The second is on the sofa bed in the living area. The bedroom offers a comfortable walkaround queen bed with a wardrobe on either side. There are also multiple cabinets and drawers for storing clothing and other personal items. Forest River has included a shelf with plug-ins that’s perfect for a CPAP machine as well as multiple ports for charging phones or other electronics. You’ll also find generous storage underneath the bed. The wall at the foot of the bed is prepped for a bedroom TV.

The sofa bed is easy to deploy and comfortable. Additionally, it gives owners some storage underneath for bedding and pillows. Which is always handy.

    Bathroom

The bathroom offers a spacious shower. It’s tall enough to be comfortable for almost anyone. A shower seat makes a handy shelf as well as a place to sit down. I was happy to see a roomy linen cabinet as well as storage below the vanity. There’s also a generous medicine cabinet above it. A lightweight plastic toilet helps the Sabre 25RLS to keep its weight manageable for most pickup trucks.

    Living Area

The living area consists of adjustable power theater seats that not only recline but also have a heated massage feature. A versatile rolling, drop-leaf table is fully adjustable to different heights. Which means you can use it for work, eating, or crafts. You name it. Easy-care surfaces also help make keeping everything clean a breeze.

The entertainment center consists of a 40-inch TV above an electric fireplace. But the real surprise lies behind it! A gentle pull on the right side of the entertainment center wall reveals a huge, walk-in pantry. This hidden storage area has an exterior access door, so it could easily store camping chairs or other items you’d want easy access to when you’re setting up camp.

    Kitchen

The kitchen in the Sabre 25RLS makes camp cookery a treat. Above-average features certainly help it maximize efficiency. It’s kitted out with a 12-volt Ever-Cold fridge with French doors for the fridge section. Just below, there are two spacious, pull-out freezer drawers. Other appliances include a three-burner propane cooktop and a microwave. Below the cooktop, a large air fryer takes the place of the propane oven that you’ll find in most fifth wheels.

The farmhouse sink in the Sabre 25 RLS has a pull-down faucet but also has a fitted basket and a cutting board. To the side of the sink, in the cabinets below, I was delighted to find another surprise — a pull-out waste bin where food scraps could be discarded easily. Beside the faucet, there is an automatic glass washer. So, you can get glasses crystal clean using a fraction of the water and effort it normally takes. Little things like that make for a fantastic kitchen.

On top of all these great features, there is enough solid surface counter space for two people to prepare meals. All without getting in one another’s way. Power outlets let you plug in your coffee maker, food processor, and more. In addition, there are plenty of lumber core cabinets and drawers that let you keep everything organized.

    Four-Season Capabilities

The Sabre 25RLS is designed to be used as a four-season RV. It comes equipped with one air conditioner but is prepped for a second one in the master bedroom. An electric fireplace provides heat for the living area and kitchen. But there is also a gas furnace for when the temperature sinks and subfloor ducting beneath the coach. The Sabre 25RLS has an enclosed underbelly that conserves heat and is prepared for cold weather with tank heaters.

    Storage Space

Outside, the Forest River Sabre 25RLS has a front cabinet and generous passthrough storage beneath the master bedroom. At the back of the RV, there’s an access door to the hidden pantry for stashing camping chairs or other goodies.

Inside, the Sabre 25RLS has loads of places to store everything you need for camping or even full time RV life. The hidden pantry is huge and has plenty of shelves for storing food, small appliances, crafting or office supplies and more. There are also plenty of cabinets throughout this RV.

    The Sabre 25RLS in Summary

Looking at the Sabre 25RLS, it’s clear that Forest River has really listened to its buyers. They’ve created an affordably priced, well-built, luxury RV with loads of amenities and stacks of storage options.
