The 29-foot Prime Time RV Avenger 25MKO is built with a specific RV owner in mind. It is a spacious yet lightweight trailer. Designed for one or two people, the floorplan makes good use of space and includes a well-appointed corner office complete with a desk and storage for office necessities. If you’re a single or couple looking for a spacious, comfortable RV that’s still light enough to take on road trips with a half-ton, the Avenger 25MKO might be your unicorn RV.
There’s a sense of openness as you step into the 25MKO. In part, it may owe the sensation to the contemporary color scheme. It features smooth, solid-surface, white countertops over natural gray base cabinets. The upper cabinets are pale driftwood. Cream-colored furniture ties up the soothing color scheme. Instead of a dinette, you’ll find a breakfast bar to your right and an inviting desk perched in front of a window to your left. Comfortable theater seats (oh yes, I tested them) round out the seating in the Avenger 25MKO. Personally, I could easily envision working remotely from this RV on the road or on a camping trip.
At a Glance: Avenger 25MKO
There is a lot to like inside and outside of the Prime Time RV Avenger 25MKO. However, I’ll say this here: It would be nice to have the option of being able to offer guest sleeping accommodations. Because you never know who might drop by. I also felt that there could have been more storage underneath the queen bed, and the underbed storage area was rough and felt unfinished. With a great layout and plenty of wonderful amenities, I was disappointed — and a bit surprised — to discover this.

The RV Trader Process
RV Trader asked RV shoppers what was most important to them in their RV buying process. Potential buyers — like you — helped us to identify a list of six key areas that camping and travel enthusiasts always look at when they’re searching for the perfect RV: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, four-season capabilities, and storage space.
The RV Trader team then got to work providing you with an honest and unbiased evaluations. And that’s where I come in. I’m Lynne Fedorick, RV expert and enthusiast. Whenever I review any RV, my goal is always to perform the review objectively. I evaluate everything on the RV from top to bottom. All without any undue influence from manufacturers or retailers.
RV Trader sent me to the Forest River showroom in Elkhart, Indiana to look at 2024 RVs from the diverse brands included in the Forest River family. I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.
Sleeping Space
The bedroom of the Prime Time RV Avenger 25MKO maintains the airy brightness that is the marquee of the RV’s living area. There is also plenty of storage space for clothes and other items in the wardrobe cabinets. On either side of the walk-around queen bed, there is a shelf with a USB port and plug-ins for a CPAP machine and/or a clock radio. Underneath the bed, there’s a relatively small storage area that could probably be improved upon. Additionally, on the wall at the foot of the bed, everything you need to install a TV is also ready to go.
The bedroom with its walk-around queen bed. The light tones really help it feel more spacious.
The wardrobe cabinets that arc over the bed are a very nice and practical touch.
Bathroom
The bathroom in the Avenger 25MKO is small but efficient. The shower is a basic curtained shower with a skylight over it. The skylight helps to increase the height of the ceiling in the shower so people up to 6 foot 2 inches can shower comfortably. Next to the shower, there’s a handy shelf that will find all kinds of uses for different RVers. It’s just wide enough to hold a basket of rolled towels, toilet paper, or whatever else you need to set down. There’s a plastic toilet here that helps keep weight down. Generous storage both beneath the sink and in the medicine cabinet can hold all your bathroom necessities.
Very impressed with the efficiency of this space, from its height to the little additions — like the medicine cabinet for storage and plastic toilet to keep down weight.
I’m not real tall, but hopefully this gives you an idea how the height — with the skylight and fan — really make this bathroom feel open.
Living Area
The living area in the Avenger 25MKO’s open floorplan is shared with the kitchen. You can relax and watch a movie on the well placed, 40-inch TV in the comfy reclining theater seats. By the way, the theater seats have handy beverage holders. Even better, there’s hidden storage for TV remotes, et cetera, beneath the central armrest. The TV also swivels so you can even watch when you’re preparing a meal or working in the office area. If you prefer to listen to your favorite music, instead of watching the tube, there’s a compact, yet powerful Bluetooth speaker mounted on the wall. But the highlight of the living space is the compact, yet inspired workspace near the rear of the RV.
The counter-height desk workspace is placed in front of a window. So, wherever you happen to be working, you’ll have a view. To the right of the desk are built-in shelves that hold fabric baskets that are large enough to neatly hold all your office necessities so everything can stay organized.
A 13-foot power awning adds additional sheltered living space to the Avenger 25MKO. Not only that, but an outside beverage fridge ensures cold drinks are within easy reach when you’re relaxing outdoors.
View of cabin. Note the designated workspace counter in the back left. The doors (left to right) go to the washer/dryer area and bathroom respectively.
Here’s a view from the work station itself looking across the cabin to the bedroom.
Extra theater seat storage, open!
Now, shut! Seriously. Love little conveniences like this. They make a difference.
Kitchen
The Avenger 25MKO has all the appliances and food storage space you need to easily store and prepare memorable meals wherever you go. This kitchen has a large 12-volt refrigerator, a three-burner propane cooktop and a propane oven that’s big enough to bake cookies, bread, or pizza. You know, whenever the inspiration hits you.
Not so inspired? Well then, there’s a microwave oven above the cooktop. Electrical outlets at either end of the kitchen ensure you have places to plug in a coffee maker or food processor. You’ll find oodles of storage in this kitchen too. There are cabinets and drawers. There’s a built-in spice rack and a pantry. Magnetic closures on cabinet doors and drawers help to ensure that you don’t have any surprise spillage disasters when you reach your destination.
The workspace triangle is perfect for meal preparation with everything you need within easy reach and plenty of counter space. Counterspace seamlessly incorporates a breakfast bar with seating for two. A flip-up counter can provide space to accommodate an additional guest who can sit on the counter height chair borrowed from the office.
The kitchen really impresses. From storage (above counter and below) to appliances to counter space (there’s lots), it’s a great layout.
The propane oven is serious. There’s room to do some actual baking. That is, if you like your cabin smelling delicious.
Four-Season Capabilities
The Avenger 25 MKO has an enclosed underbelly, sub-floor ducted heating and tank heaters which give it three- season capability and four-season capability in areas where winters are mild.
Storage Space
There’s no such thing as too much storage space in any RV. So, I loved seeing the vast amount of storage space in the Avenger 25MKO. Prime Time RV has ensured that there is no shortage here. Outside, there’s a huge basement storage area to hold outdoor gear like chairs, a screen house or fishing rods. Inside, there is above average storage space from front to back. Whatever it is, the Avenger lets you take it with you when you go. Even if you plan to get some work done along the way.
Who loves passthrough storage? The Avenger 25MKO does. And we do too.
Look how much storage space there is under the cabin. Lots of space to tuck away your gear.
Pop-up trailers have a special place in my heart. For me, they bring childhood memories of camping with the family in our pop-up trailer to mind. Like most tent trailers back then, ours was pretty basic. It was a manually deployed shelter on wheels, but it did its job. With its canvas walls and windows that were zipped up at night, it felt like a real camping experience. The Flagstaff 228SE gives me all those same feelings.
But the reality is that it is also different — in a good way. Forest River’s Flagstaff 228SE pop-up trailer is stashed with nice surprises that make it a far cry from the tent trailer of my youth. It has all the amenities you need for a fun-filled weekend family getaway. And it all comes in the lightweight, easy-to-tow, easy-to-deploy package you’d expect of a pop-up.

Best For
Families who want to enjoy connecting with nature in a lightweight, easy-to-tow (and park!) RV that has all the basic necessities.
Younger campers who want to boondock in nature with a few good friends.

I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.
According to RV dealers I’ve spoken to, Forest River Flagstaff RVs are known for quality finishes in a lightweight RV. How true was this? I was about to discover the answer to that, and a lot of other questions I. In the hours to come, I would investigate every inch of the exterior and interior of this quintessential tent trailer.
Here’s what I found out about the Forest River Flagstaff 228SE pop-up trailer.
Sleeping Space
The Flagstaff 228SE has enough sleeping space for seven campers.
Its three slide-out wings help. Each of the beds at the front and back of the trailer sleep two adults comfortably. The mattresses are designed to be light, so they aren’t very thick. However, they were surprisingly comfortable when I tried them out. The sliding wing on the driver’s side of this RV has a dinette that transforms into a relatively comfortable sleeping space for another two sleepers. Opposite the dinette is a bench seat that quickly transforms into a bed for another camper.
Also, it’s worth noting that there is additional storage above the bed at the front of the RV in the form of a hanging net.
Sleeping areas extend to the front and back once the pop-up is deployed. Although the mattress is thin to stay lightweight, it is surprisingly comfortable. As you can see, two people can sleep here comfortably.
Bathroom
It was a nice surprise to find a bathroom in a pop-up trailer. The Flagstaff SE228 is complete with a shower and a small cassette toilet. While it has a low wall that folds up, there is an intriguing, circular shower curtain rod attached to the ceiling. This is where you can hang the shower curtain either for use with the hand held shower or for privacy when nature calls. There isn’t a sink in this bathroom, but the kitchen sink is nearby.
The bathroom, albeit covered with a curtain and without a sink, is still a pop-up luxury. The kitchen sink works well enough for hand-washing.
Living Area
The living area of the Flagstaff 228SE is generous for a tent trailer. It has a table that’s big enough to play board games or cards after dinner. Additionally, there’s a bench seat that could easily be augmented with throw cushions for a reading nook. There’s also a place to hook up a TV on the rearmost slide bed. Kids would love the fort-like feel of the slide-out bed areas for play on rainy days.
A generous Thule awning spans the side of this trailer. Nicely, it blurs the line between indoors and outdoors to give you even more living space.
View of the cabin, with sofa, sleep space, dinette, and kitchen counter in view.
Alternate view of the cabin, including kitchen, second sleep space, and bathroom in focus.
The dinette. Perfect for playing cards and equally good for sleeping two (post-conversion).
The awning (here undeployed) can help extend living space to the outdoors.
Kitchen
The kitchen in the Flagstaff 228SE is functional, with a fridge, three- burner stove, and generous sink. There are also cabinets and drawers that could be used to store cooking utensils, dishes, or food. However, there is absolutely no counter space. One feels the deficiency could have been solved with a strategically placed pull-out or flip-up counter.
The kitchen has its merits. A mini fridge, three-burner stove, sink, and some drawers are among them. More counter space, however, might be desired.
A better look at that tucked away 12-volt fridge.
Four-Season Capabilities
As a tent-style pop-up trailer, the Flagstaff 228SE is definitely not a four-season RV. However, with its heated mattresses and propane heat, it would be entirely possible for hardy people to camp for three seasons in this camper.
Pop-up campers like the Flagstaff 228SE are many great things. Fun. Easy to tow. Easy to deploy. They are not, however, designed withstand the winter cold.
Storage Space
There’s an impressive amount of storage space in the Flagstaff 228SE. Outside, a passthrough storage cabinet at the front end of the RV holds a heavy-duty plastic drawer that helps keep items accessible. This cabinet would be ideal for storing long items like fishing rods. On the driver’s side, you’ll find another respectably sized cabinet. It can hold items such as the two-burner propane cooktop that’s included with this rig.
Inside, cabinets and drawers in the kitchen area provide storage for kitchen gear and food. Cabinets under the bench seats provide storage for clothing and other gear.
Other Niceties of the Flagstaff 228SE
SE stands for Sporting Enthusiast. (Maybe I should’ve mentioned that earlier.) Therefore, the 228SE has been built to take you camping on roads less traveled. Whether it’s a fishing adventure in the mountains, or a lakeside retreat, that’s up to you. The Flagstaff 228SE could be the ideal rig for weekend family getaways. It’s an especially nice option if you have a smaller tow vehicle and don’t want to upgrade. Stepping inside, it feels like luxury safari accommodation. LED lighting helps minimize power consumption when this RV isn’t plugged in. For entertainment options, there’s a built in Bluetooth stereo and ports near the rear of the RV for a TV.
All in all, I liked this rig. Aside from the nostalgia factor, it feels like a solid build, with quality materials and workmanship throughout. If you’re looking buy a great pop-up camper, it’s a nice place to start — and finish.
For those looking for a family-friendly travel trailer that’s lightweight and doesn’t hold back on amenities, meet the 2024 Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB. This 37-foot RV certainly has plenty of sleeping space. Even in its streamlined design, there is a large bunkroom, pull-out sofa, convertible dinette, and queen bedroom. The 32DSB also features some very clever — and super-secret — behind-the-TV storage. The wall in the bunk room also transforms into a double bunk in the blink of an eye. Or it could be an office for remote work.
If you’re keeping an eye out for an easy-towing travel trailer for family camping adventures, the Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB could be just what you’re looking for. Its functional versatility means owners can host a larger than average crew. But you can also set up an exceptional workspace, if you need to clock some off-grid hours.

At a Glance: Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB
The Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB earns four stars because it meets the needs of its intended users: weekend warriors looking to pile in the family. Sure There’s sleeping space for nine people, but finding places for all nine to stow their clothes and other gear could be a challenge in this RV.

I inspected each RV with the buyer’s perspective at the forefront. How well would each RV meet the needs and requirements of its intended buyer? Above all, I wanted to seek out answers to this question, so I looked at the six key areas with this in mind.
Sleeping Space
The Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB floorplan features sleeping for up to nine. What does that look like? Something like this. There’s sleeping for two in the queen bedroom. You can get up to three in the bunkroom. Two more can fit on the pull-out sofa bed and another two more on the convertible dinette sleeper.
In the main bedroom, a 60-inch by 80-inch queen bed is flanked by CPAP prepped nightstands that have USB and AC plugins. This bedroom gets twin wardrobes, drawers, and an overhead shelf for books. The wall opposite the bed is prepped for a TV, so you could enjoy your favorite shows in peace while the kids in the bunk room enjoy their own TV.
In the bunk room, two flip-down double bunks help to create a versatile space that can be used as an office or a separate rec room for rainy days. A third, stationary twin bunk has handy, built-in net storage for game controllers (or whatever else). When the bunk on the opposite side is flipped up, it reveals a large desk area and a 32-inch smart TV. Beneath the desk, three large drawers provide space to store items like kid clothes.
The bedroom in the cap houses a queen-size bed.
The bunk room, here in sleep mode, is a clinic on functionality. It sleeps three (great for kids). But it can also convert into an office (great for adults).
The sofa bed folds out to comfortably sleep an additional two. Not pictured, to its right, the dinette converts to sleep two more.
Bathroom
The bathroom in the Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB is functional. It contains everything you need when you’re camping. A plastic toilet helps to keep the UVW down. The roomy acrylic-surround shower has a multifunction showerhead that can be used handheld or in place. Its vanity and medicine cabinet can store toilet tissue, medication, a first aid kit, and toiletries.
Living Area
The central living area in the Tracer 32DSB is shared with kitchen and dining areas. The comfy sofa bed is positioned directly across from an entertainment center that houses a 32-inch, 12-volt TV and soundbar as well as a cozy 15,000 Btu electric fireplace. The real surprise is the secret storage space that gets revealed when the TV is pulled forward.
Outside the RV, a 19-inch awning with LED lights gives you an abundance of sheltered living area. Which, with the crowd you can bring, you’ll be grateful for.
A look at the cabin from the back (with the bunk room behind).
Here the alternate view from the cap (with the bedroom behind) looking toward the bunk room at the rear.
The bunk room in remote work mode. Private and spacious with loads of surface area, there’s even room to scoot your chair back. You can also let lots of natural light in if you bring up the shades in the rear window.
Kitchen
The Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB has a small but functional kitchen with a three-burner stove, a small gas oven, and an over-the-counter microwave — perfect for making movie night popcorn. The solar panels can provide power to the large 12-volt, two-door refrigerator/freezer when you’re out boondocking. At the end of the kitchen, a roomy farmhouse-style sink and simple, arched faucet add functional elegance.
The kitchen is augmented by a small outdoor kitchen area, a beverage fridge, and pull-out shelf with a propane quick connect for your preference of grill or cooktop, perhaps for cooking fresh caught fish next to a lake.
Inside, the dinette can seat four comfortably, but it’s possible to add the desk chair to make seating for five here. The dinette benches each have storage space underneath that would be perfect for storing bedding and pillows.
An exquisite view of the kitchen.
The farmhouse-style sink is spacious and flanked by a comfortable amount of counter space.
The three-burner gas cooktop with oven. The oven is much larger than you’d expect.
Always nice to have under-the-counter storage.
Four-Season Capabilities
A propane furnace, an efficient electric fireplace wiring for up to two air conditioners, help keep temperatures inside the Tracer 32DSB comfortable whether it’s chilly or hot outside. All of which makes this RV a good choice for three-season camping. However, without heating pads on the tanks, the Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB really isn’t designed to go beyond three seasons.
Storage Space
On the exterior of Tracer 32DSB, you’ll find generous pass-through storage that could easily hold fishing rods, camping chairs and other essential supplies for a great camping getaway. However, inside, there’s not a lot of storage space. The secret storage space behind the TV is innovative. But it’s needed, considering the Tracer 32DSB’s high sleep capacity. While storage might be adequate to store clothing, food, and other necessities, there’s not a lot of extra space.
Passthrough storage is located under the cap.
A closer look at that passthrough storage.
Just a TV, right? Nothing else to see here. Unless…
Peek-a-boo storage behind the TV. So clever.
Making the Most of Its Storage Space
Little features appear designed to help. When you step into the RV there are hooks for hanging jackets or towels. It’s a functional design that helps make this RV feel like a little cottage on wheels. A large cabinet in the living/kitchen area could be used as either a pantry or for wardrobe storage, depending on your needs. The kitchen has four overhead cabinets, four drawers, and under-sink cabinet storage. The camp cook will love the built-in, two-tier wire spice rack integrated into the fireplace mantle.
The bedroom has two wardrobe closets, two drawers and a storage under the bed. In the bunk room, two oversized drawers are big enough to stash clothing.
For anyone familiar with RVing, compromises are not surprises. While the Prime Time RV Tracer 32DSB is generous in sleeping space, amenities, and functional versatility, it keeps a tighter rein on storage. Which makes it a perfect lightweight, family-friendly travel trailer for shorter trips with bigger crowds.
Forest River has a nickname for its No Boundaries line: the NOBO. It’s a simple name. A clever name. One that waste’s no motion and fits nicely wherever it parks. Likewise, Forest River’s nimble NOBO trailers are designed to go places that give other travel trailers pause. Made for tight spots and tough terrain, the 2024 Forest River NOBO 10.7 was built for off-road adventure. Perched on a go-anywhere, axle-less Curt Beast Mode independent suspension, the NOBO 10.7 is only 15 feet long. Yet it has all the basic amenities you need packed up in a minimalist teardrop-style design. The NOBO lets you get back to basics. In the mountains. By a lake. Or wherever else you decide to tow it. This unique 15-foot rig weighs just 2,255 pounds.
That makes it well under the towing capacity of most SUVs — even when it’s loaded up with stuff like mountain bikes, kayaks and fishing gear. A batwing-style awning gives owners the option of relaxing under shaded living space outside of the RV. That is, when you’re not busy hiking, kayaking, or fishing. It’s really the perfect RV for those who are looking to connect with nature, but are ready to upgrade from a tent to a go-anywhere, easy set-up camper that has the capacity to stow plenty of sporting gear.
Let’s take a closer look.
At a Glance: Forest River NOBO 10.7
I gave this RV a 5 out of 5 because it meets all the requirements of the “almost rustic” camping experience for which it was designed. The build on the NOBO 10.7 is very simple and minimalist, leaving very little that could go wrong. This little trailer is obviously well-designed, solid, and well put together.

The NOBO 10.7’s batwing awning is a robust extension of shaded living space.
Viewed here for the rear, you can see how much shade the awning provides. However, this awning (like most) is not designed to withstand high wind conditions.
Best For
Millennials or older Gen Zs with small to midsize SUVs who want a camping experience that allows them to connect with nature, while having access to basic amenities and a comfy place to retire at night.
Small families with older children who will enjoy camping in the available rooftop tent or in a traditional tent.

RV Trader asked RV shoppers what was most important to them in their RV buying process. They helped us to identify a list of six key areas that camping and travel enthusiasts always look at when they’re searching for the perfect RV: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, four-season capabilities, and storage space.
Then RV Trader got to work providing you, the reader, with an honest and unbiased evaluations. And that’s where I come in. I’m Lynne Fedorick, RV expert and enthusiast. Whenever I review any RV, my goal is always to evaluate everything on the RV from top to bottom. I want to perform the review objectively, without any undue influence from manufacturers or retailers.
The 2024 Forest River No Boundaries 10.7 is a roomier version of a teardrop style trailer. But it’s easily roomy enough for two people to sleep comfortably in. The dense foam cushions that serve as a seating area quickly transform into a truly comfortable queen size bed. An electric fireplace and a 30-inch LED smart TV add to the cozy ambience. There is a fold-out shelf on either side of the bed with charging ports so your devices can charge while you sleep
But what if you want to bring people camping but not necessarily sleep with them? Perhaps you want to camp with your older kids or even a friend. No problem. The NOBO can be set up to handle this with a really cool little NOBO Nest, a rooftop tent, one that comes complete with a ladder. This tent easily accommodates a guest. It could also be a fun, self-contained hideout for older children or teenagers.
The cabin easily converts into a queen-size bed.
Bathroom
This is where the NOBO gets really rustic. There is no bathroom. You won’t even find an exterior shower. However, Forest River does include a portable cassette toilet which can be set up in a pop-up tent designed for this purpose.
Living Area
I found the cushioned seating in the living area of the NOBO to be surprisingly relaxing and comfortable. The NOBO 10.7 comes outfitted with both a roof-mounted air conditioner and an electric fireplace opposite the seating area to regulate the temperature inside the RV. The fully enclosed underbelly helps to ensure that the floor stays a reasonable temperature, even when it’s cool out. As mentioned before, there are two flip-out tables on either side of the cushions that comprise the seating area that could be used for working. Or snacking while watching TV. Or reading a book on a rainy day. However, most of the NB10.7’s living space is outdoors under the enormous batwing awning.
When deployed, the 270-inch awning extends along the passenger side and around the back of the RV. It provides a vast sheltered living area that’s shared with the kitchen area. As with any awning, the batwing doesn’t do well in windy conditions, so it would make sense to bring an alternative, wind resistant shelter. (Something like a CLAM pop-up shelter for camping in windy conditions.)
And voila! The sleeping area converts back into a surprisingly cozy living area, complete with couch, two flip-out tables, 30-inch smart TV, and an electric fireplace. Note also the ease of having two entrances.
Kitchen
At the back of the 2024 Forest River NOBO 10.7, you’ll find an awning-style door that flips up to reveal — and shelter — a functional camp kitchen with a two-burner propane stove and a relatively spacious 12-volt fridge.
Lots to love about this little outdoor, awning-covered kitchen: pullout, two-burner stove; sink with counter space; overhead storage; and a 12-volt fridge.
A closer look at the fridge, which has far more capacity than you’d expect for a trailer this size.
Four-Season Capabilities
While the NOBO 10.7 is best used as a three-season camping trailer, it has some warmer features. It houses an enclosed belly and cozy electric fireplace. Both make it possible to use it in the winter in regions where winters are mild.
While not a four-season camper, the NOBO 10.7 does have some warm features, like an enclosed belly and the electric fireplace (shown here).
Storage Space
The 2024 Forest River NOBO 10.7 has a surprising amount of storage space. With exterior cabinets, it allows you to bring along clothes and gear for a weekend away. Inside, there’s even enough space to easily stash two mountain bikes. There’s also a few netted cubbies that can store clothing, bedding, and other essentials. Outside, you’ll find two roomy cabinets. The front cabinet is long enough to hold a fishing rod or two, as well as other fishing gear. The side cabinet could easily fit an inflatable paddleboard and/or other gear. On the roof, you’ll find a Rhino Rack system outfitted with a J-rack kayak rack. There’s enough storage space to get you through an action-packed weekend in the woods. But you can always take it easy too.
This is a very clever, very cool way to add vertical storage space.
A Great Little Gateway to the Outdoors
The 2024 Forest River NOBO 10.7 has everything you need for an outdoor-oriented, yet comfortable camping experience. It’s large, all-terrain tires and axle-free Curt independent suspension allows it to get to places that other travel trailers can’t go. If you’re looking to upgrade your camping experience, without upgrading your tow vehicle, you owe it to yourself to take a closer look at this little gem.

Grech RV brings the executive jet experience down to earth with the meticulously equipped LUSSO. Wherever you’re going, this luxurious 24-foot executive van will get you there in superb comfort, fully provisioned with everything a mobile office needs. The Grech RV LUSSO is designed as a Wi-Fi-enabled executive retreat on wheels — with the goal of making both business travel and leisurely outings an absolute treat. And did they ever succeed.
Like the entire Grech RV line, the LUSSO is built on a smooth-riding, fully optioned, 4-cylinder, diesel, high-output Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with an air-ride suspension. These chassis options ensure that driving is enjoyable, even over longer distances. From the cockpit alone, numerous features are in reach and at your control. Heated memory foam front seats, touchscreen navigation, a backup camera, and parking sensors all help ensure that driving the LUSSO is not only easy — it’s also a delight.
A Fully Loaded RV for Work — and Play
Stepping further inside the LUSSO’s cabin, you’ll find four exclusive heated and cooled reclining massage chairs, each with a concealed aircraft-style tray table built into an armrest. In the rear, two sumptuous sofas create a separate area for casual discussions or separate meetings. A detachable iPad that controls everything in the LUSSO, from climate control to transforming the sofas into a generous and comfortable sleeping area.
On top of that, a separate room at the rear of the coach holds a functional restroom and kitchenette.
As usual, Grech RV has given meticulous thought to the design and features in this versatile RV. So, let’s take a closer look at what makes this executive van such an elite people mover — whether that’s for remote work or pure pleasure.

Challenges
The LUSSO’s bathroom and kitchenette are in the same space, which is more than sufficient for short trips, but not ideal for longer ones.
While the LUSSO’s Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis gives it plenty of umph for any surface and its Lithionics energy package provides plenty of independent power, the LUSSO is not primarily designed for going off-road and into the great outdoors. The LUSSO’s greatest virtues are keeping its lucky occupants connected with the luxuries of civilization as they travel through it.
Who Is This For?
Executives who travel a lot for business travel and want to maintain a first-class work environment on the road
Families who want limousine-style privacy and comfort for leisurely family excursions, wine tours, concerts, and sporting events with friends
Our Reviews, Your Way
We asked RV shoppers (like you) what was most important in the RV buying process. Very quickly, six key areas came to the forefront: Sleeping space, bathroom, living area, four-season capability, and storage space. So, for every RV Trader review, we hire independent RV experts to assess each RV primarily along those categories.
That’s where I come in. I’m Lynne Fedorick, an RV expert. RV Trader sent me to the Grech RV showroom in Riverside, California to thoroughly examine six Grech RVs models and floorplans, including the LUSSO.
The LUSSO is different from the rest of Grech RV Class B models. It’s more specifically an executive van —a perfect hybrid between luxury people transporter and an RV. So naturally there were some differences between the LUSSO and a conventional Class B. Discovering those differences had me checking out all of the features on the LUSSO from top to bottom, including testing the LUSSO’s sumptuously divine heated massage chairs.
Sleeping Space
While the LUSSO can seat up to 10 passengers, it can only sleep two. As mentioned previously, the detachable iPad is used to recline the two couches at the rear of the LUSSO into a single, generously sized memory foam sleeping area. Alternatively, each memory foam sofa is long enough to accommodate an adult who wants to catch some ZZZs.
Two power side sofas provide sleeping space for two in the back of the LUSSO’s cabin.
Living and Entertainment Area
Seating in the LUSSO is divided into two spaces. In the front section, you’ll find four of Grech RV’s exclusive ultraleather seats facing each other for en route discussions. These are more than the run-of-the-mill comfortable vehicle seats. That’s because each of them has an arm-mounted control panel that allows an occupant to recline the seat, adjusting the leg rest to a decadently perfect position.
As if that wasn’t enough, the same control panel allows users to slip into a relaxing, almost spa-like experience with heating, cooling, and massage controls. Each of the seats is equipped with an airplane tray style work surface that stows into one of its arms when not in use. Each of the seats also has a built-in USB port to keep electronic devices charged. An installed Starlink satellite internet system ensures that you’ll have access to Wi-Fi wherever you go.
In the Back
In the rear space of the LUSSO, you’ll find two luxurious ultraleather sofas across from one another for relaxed group discussions, perhaps over espresso and snacks. Tired travelers will appreciate that each sofa reclines with a touch of a control to form a single, spacious sleeping area. Here is where you’ll also find an LED Smart TV that includes an Apple TV. This is particularly handy for presentations, but of course can be used for entertainment like watching sports, or taking in a movie.
The LUSSO is accented with those blue Grech Motors — a signature of luxury travel in the transportation industry for years.
Welcome to first class. The four chairs inside the cabin heat you. Cool you. Massage you.
The LUSSO’s features are not just for play. They’re also highly functional for work. With their airport-style armrests that conceal flip-out tray tables, the LUSSO can easily accomodate six different work spaces.
Bathroom and Kitchenette
The restroom area is located through a door at the rear of the seating area of the LUSSO. It’s a very simple affair consisting of a ceramic toilet with a macerator and an above-counter, bowl-style sink with an elegant euro-style faucet.
The kitchenette in the LUSSO is in the same space as the restroom facilities. This was the only real drawback of the LUSSO we could find. However, when it comes down to it, it somehow makes sense to have a shared sink in this floorplan. Anyway, it’s difficult to imagine any other way for both the kitchenette and a restroom to be included in the LUSSO. With that being said, the kitchenette has some great features: a Nespresso machine, microwave oven, small refrigerator, and enough hand-crafted hardwood storage cabinets to store plenty of road trip snacks. This little kitchen area shares a sink with the restroom.
What the kitchenette lacks in size, it makes up for in class and versatility. Note the cabinet space and microwave about the porcelain sink, as well as the fridge below it.
A little Nesspresso hideaway for some caffeine-powered business fuel.
The fridge is compact but has plenty of room to stock for a day or weekend trip.
The toilet shares space with the kitchenette in the rear of the LUSSO, but note the amount of space around it (as well as the storage above it).
Four-Season Capability
While the LUSSO enjoys the multiple layers of insulation that go into all Grech RV floors, walls, and ceilings, this executive van is not primarily intended for extended stays in the elements. Even so, its freshwater and gray water tanks are carefully insulated, as well as heated too. Built for comfort, the LUSSO’s climate control system can successfully keep temperatures where you want them as you navigate from season to season. The LUSSO has a whisper-quiet Gree air conditioner and heat pump to keep the temperature perfectly comfortable.
While all these features help keep occupants cozy, Grech RV spokesperson John Black is quick to point out that these RVs are not designed to be used in extreme cold (like a Canadian winter). However, what these RVs will do is keep you comfortable for four seasons where winter temperatures are milder.
We love how everything on the on the LUSSO, including climate control, can be controlled from an iPad.
Storage Space
The rear area of the LUSSO lends itself perfectly for storing luggage or other items. In addition, there is plenty of cabinet storage here for food or personal items. This rear area is where you’ll also find an unobtrusive and hidden safe for storing electronics and other valuable items while you are on the road.
This secret storage spot next to the toilet can act as a hidden safe for storing electronics and other valuables.
Final Notes on the LUSSO
Exterior Appearance
The LUSSO has a refined elegance that sets it apart from many RVs. However, from the outside, it looks very much like any ordinary Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van. Appliances and extrusions on the roof of the LUSSO are painted to match the exterior color. So, unless you have a discerning eye, it’s hard to tell you’re looking at an RV. It makes them a natural fit for RVers that live in HOA communities.
What’s Underneath?
After exploring the interior and exterior features of the Grech RVs I can’t say I was surprised when I looked underneath the chassis. Here’s what I found: an incredibly neat and tidy undercarriage. Nothing is out of place. There are no mystery wires or misplaced screws. Instead, there are gleaming stainless-steel brackets, perfect welds, and not a nut or bolt out of place. Not only that, the holding tanks were custom-made to fit perfectly under the RVs, to help ensure that no space is wasted while providing the maximum possible holding capacity.
It’s indicative of a meticulous approach to building RVs with the clear goal of providing a flawless RV experience for many years.
A Flash of the Grech RV Origin Story
Grech RV is a relative newcomer to the RV industry. However, this family-owned company has been making sought after luxury limousines and buses for more than 40 years. So Grech RV had time to develop its luxury vehicle game long before jumping into the RV market in 2021.
The Grech RV LUSSO straddles the line between a limousine and an RV. It’s a unique hybrid. One which was designed and developed by a company that has become renowned for quality and customer service in both the luxury, people-mover business and in the Class B RV business.
Customer Service
Either way, if a Grech RV customer has an issue with their vehicle, they are advised to give Grech RV — not their dealer —the first call. (They even provide you with a personal number) That kind of responsive customer service enables Grech RV to diagnose over 90 percent of problems without an owner ever having to waste time, money, or energy getting repairs done.
And if a repair is required, Grech RV helps arrange for an approved technician to fix it right away. It’s a level of customer care that’s unusual where owners can spend months waiting for service when something goes wrong. And it’s the kind of service we’d love to see the rest of the RV industry match.
The Grech RV Turismo-ion Twin AWD was made to get you off the beaten path for a carefree and flawless RV camping experience. At just over 19 feet long, the Turismo-ion is the smallest Class B in the remarkably elegant and upscale Grech RV line. However, just because the Turismo-ion is small doesn’t mean it lacks the luxury found in Grech RV’s larger 24-foot Strada-ion or the similarly appointed 22-foot Terreno-ion Twin. Like both of these larger models, the Turismo-ion has an air ride suspension, giving it a superbly smooth ride.
This all-electric Class B serves up all the amenities found in the Terreno-ion Twin, albeit in a smaller package. Plus (as with all Grech RVs) the fully electric Turismo-ion is built on a fully loaded diesel Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Its shorter wheelbase (144-inch vs the Terreno-ion’s 170-inch wheelbase) gives the Turismo-ion increased nimbleness and maneuverability that make it as much at home on a city street as it is on a mountain road. And make no mistake: The Turismo is definitely meant to take you exploring roads less traveled and beyond.
A Tale of Two Floorplans
The Turismo-ion is available in two floorplans: Tour or Twin. The key difference between the two floorplans is that the Turismo-ion Tour has four seatbelts and a comfortable lounge area in the back of the RV with a memory foam sofa and twin ottomans, which, of course, transforms itself into a single sleeping area for up to two people; the Turismo-ion Twin’s lounge/sleeping area reveals it has different priorities.
While the Turismo-ion Twin’s floorplan is very similar to Tour in many ways, its floorplan is arranged with two reclining sofas facing each other at the rear of the RV. At night, an adult can stretch out comfortably on each sofa, but both sofas also transform into a single large sleeping area for up to two adults. Significantly, the Twin’s floorplan gives you additional space to store larger toys. Like a surfboard. Or fishing gear. Or a bicycle between the sofas. In short, the Tour give you room for (two) more people; the Twin gives you room for more toys.
If you’re looking for a luxurious, expedition-ready Class B RV — and you need room for gear — the Turismo-ion Twin AWD might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Real RV Reviews, Done Your Way
When RV Trader asked RV shoppers (like you) what was most important in their RV buying process, what do you think they said? They overwhelmingly mentioned six key areas: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, kitchen, four-season capability, and storage.
So, every time RV Trader reviews an RV, we take a close look at those six categories. RV Trader also hires experienced RV experts to evaluate each model and conduct an independent RV reviews process. So, you can know the good, the bad, and the unexpected about every RV we review.
I’m Lynne, and that’s where I come in. I’m an RV expert, and when I review an RV, my goal is always to review it objectively. So, when RV Trader sent me to evaluate six Grech RV models and floorplans in Riverside, California, I did exactly that. I went over every inch of this RV and put together an objective, unbiased review that I hope will be valuable to RV shoppers like you.
So, let’s get rolling with my review of the Twin floorplan of the Grech RV Turismo-ion AWD.
Sleeping Space
In the rear of this RV, you’ll find two sumptuous ultraleather sofas that face one another. When it’s time for bed, the Twin floorplan gives you two options to choose from. Travelers that don’t want to share a bed can each sleep very comfortably on the memory foam sofas. A single person, or two people that don’t mind sharing a bed can use the wall mounted Firefly touchscreen controller (or Firefly phone app) to recline both sofas into a comfortable 66-inch by 76-inch bed. There’s a spacious storage cabinet over the rear doors that is perfect for stowing bedding and pillows.Plus if you like to watch a movie at bedtime you’ll love that Grech RV puts a 24-inch LED smart TV in the rear area of this RV with a premium soundbar.
Other cool features you’ll find in the sleeping area are built-in shelves with 110V power outlets and USB charging outlets with handy shelves to stash your electronics neatly away so they’ll be charged and ready to go in the morning.
Nighty Night
Before you go to sleep, you’ll probably want to go to the Firefly panel (or the Firefly App on your phone) and choose the Shades option. From there you can choose the Master option to lower all the shades at once. Alternatively, you could choose to lower individual shades using the descriptive icons on the panel or on the app. The Firefly system is really flawless technology that’s designed to be easy to use without any learning curve.
Another thing I loved in the Grech RVs are the insect screens on the side and rear doors. The power insect screen at the back drops from the top of the doorway to protect RV occupants. This feature lets you have the rear doors open without worrying about mosquitos coming in. That means, you could back the Turismo-ion Twin AWD up to a beautiful river, open the rear doors, drop the screen, and enjoy a beautiful view without being bothered by bugs.
The twin sofas give owners great versatility of use. They create a spacious living area, shown here with the Lagun table set up; but their orientation also allows storage space for larger outdoor toys.
With the touch of a button on your Firefly panel or app, the sofas converge to create a large sleep space.
Bathroom
The Turismo-ion Twin has a spacious wet bath that’s packed with plenty of great little features that add up to an aura of elegant luxury. It’s true that many RV wet baths can feel cramped, this one has a bright and spacious feel. Some of the keys to this spacious feel is a concealed window as well as three mirrors strategically placed to reflect light. All the surfaces in the wet bath are uniformly light colored and glossy to reflect light and add to the roomy feel. The result is lighting that is good enough that it would be easy to shave or apply makeup in this bathroom. Those who need more privacy can pull the window’s manual shade closed.
I loved that the toilet is ceramic because ceramic RV toilets are easy to clean. Ceramic RV toilets also seem to maintain their appearance for much longer than the plastic toilets commonly found in RV bathrooms.
Bathroom Features We Love
One-piece, easy-to-clean, high-gloss surface
Excellent lighting for shaving or makeup
Concealed bathroom window
Pull-out, multi-position shaving/makeup mirror
Pull-out faucet and transforms into a shower head
Multiple hooks for hanging towels and washcloths
Manual pull-down window shade
Cloth shower curtain to contain moisture
Large mirror that can be used outside the bathroom when door is open
Protected toilet tissue holder that keeps toilet tissue dry while someone showers
Wet baths in Class Bs have a reputation for feeling cramped. Not so with the Grech RV wet bath. There’s lots of light, great utility of space, and luxury features, like the ceramic toilet shown here.
Inside the bathroom, little features go a long way. The smooth, single-piece surfaces are appealing (and easy-to-clean). The faucet pulls out and can be repositioned to become a shower head. There’s even a concealed window.
Living Area
As mentioned, two comfy sofas sit at the rear of the Twin floorplan. There is a multiposition Lagun style table, which can be quickly deployed or removed as needed. The Turismo-ion Twin’s sumptuous and fully adjustable captain’s chairs also swivel around to face the main area of the RV creating additional seating without compromising room in this space conscious RV. What’s more, the seat closest to the door can be positioned to make use of a pop up table that deploys from the end of the kitchen cabinetry as a desk or eating surface.
Outside the Turismo, there’s a generous awning that adds a sheltered outdoor living area. The awning even has a wind sensor. The Firefly App (or touch pad) lets you easily control and adjust both the awning and its adjustable lighting. By the way, I loved the design-conscious way that Grech RV adds the power awning onto all Grech RVs. Instead of just plunking it next to the roof of the RV and screwing it on (like many manufacturers do), Grech RV maintains the visual integrity of their RV’s elegant appearance by aerodynamically blending the awning cover into the exterior design. It’s the kind attention to detail that helps to create trust in Grech RV’s craftsmanship and quality. Grech RV seems aware that these little details make a big difference.
Letting the Outdoors In
To take even more living space outdoors, the exterior side of the rear door power shade is white. With the rear doors open, it makes a perfect projection screen for enjoying a movie night under the stars. All you’d need to add would be a starry night, a projector and some popcorn. I was impressed that Grech RV made one side of this particular shade white on all its 2025 RVs in response to a casual suggestion by a customer.
View of the cabin from the passenger-side sofa.
A wonderful 24-inch LED smart TV is positioned nicely on the drive-side sofa.
This screen door on the side entrance enables you to let the outdoors in, minus the bugs.
Features like this are what make these Grech RV models special. Not only can you drop a screen in the rear to open up while keeping the insects out, you can also drop a screen and watch movies outdoors if you have a projector.
Kitchen
The kitchen area of the Turismo-ion Twin has a lot of features that we’ve become accustomed to finding in Class As, Cs, and fifth wheels. There’s a lot to love in the Turismo-ion Twin’s functional kitchen, including its gorgeous quartz countertops. Grech RV maximizes counter space with an integrated two-burner induction cooktop and a removable countertop that can be placed over the spacious farmhouse-style sink. Grech RV has also added extra counter space with that cleverly concealed flip up table/work surface mentioned earlier. All of this makes for an unexpectedly practical and functional galley style kitchen in a Class B.
The Turismo-ion Twin AWD boasts an energy efficient induction range, a combination convection oven/air fryer/microwave, and a small fridge. Kitchen storage is more than adequate and contained in hand crafted solid hardwood cabinets and drawers. Here’s a list of the features our experts loved about this RV kitchen.
Our Favorite Kitchen Features
Flip-up work surface/table
Quartz countertops
Two-burner Induction stove
Combination microwave/convection/air fryer
Spacious farmhouse-style sink
Faucet with pull-out sprayer
Large 12V refrigerator with bottom freezer
Plenty of storage in hardwood cabinets and drawers
An integrated flip out storage caddy under the sink for dishwashing tools
This farmhouse-style sink is especially large and lovely. The faucet also pulls out. Further down the quartz countertop, you can see the two-burner induction stovetop.
The microwave/convection/air fryer gives your galley a multitude of cooking options.
This fridge is larger than you would expect for a Class B this size. It even has a little freezer in the top left corner.
Four-Season Capability
Grech RV puts multiple layers of insulation into all its RV floors, walls, and ceilings. The Turismo-ion Twin is no exception. Freshwater and gray water tanks are carefully insulated and heated too. The Gree air conditioner doubles as a delightfully quiet heat pump that keeps things nice and cozy when you want to camp in cooler temperatures. However, when it’s really cold out, you have heating options. There’s also the quiet Timberline heater that operates on diesel. (In winter, it’s quite nice to have the choice of two different heating appliances — neither of which involve filling/lugging a propane bottle.)
While all these features help occupants to stay comfortable, Grech RV spokesperson John Black is quick to point out that these RVs are not designed to be used in extreme cold (like a Canadian winter). However, what these RVs will do is keep you comfortable for four seasons where winter temperatures are even slightly milder. With that in mind, the Turismo-ion Twin is probably better classified as a three-and-a-half-season camper.
Storage Space
The Turismo-ion Twin has impressive storage capacity in the form of spacious, beautifully handcrafted hardwood cabinets. There’s lots of room to store all the essentials including bedding, clothing, and food. There’s enough room here to store everything you need for a road trip or a few days of camping. I was also delighted to find multiple shelves and cubbies throughout the RV where you could securely stash a book or an electronic device.
A bonus of the Twin floorplan is that there is storage space for sports gear such as fishing rods, a bicycle, or a surfboard between the two sofas at the rear of the RV. Additionally, the Turismo’s 5000-pound towing capacity allows you to easily tow a small trailer that could even carry extra toys, like ATVs or trail bikes.
About Those Cabinets
Cabinets in Grech RVs are beautifully hand-crafted from high-grade birch plywood using light or dark wood veneers. But it’s not all about beauty here: There is no MDF (otherwise known as particle board) in these cabinets at all. This gives the cabinets structural integrity and helps to ensure their longevity.
The cabinets also lock with an easy click of a pop-out button on the cabinet handle. Locking the cabinets keeps them from opening and spilling their contents while you’re bumping along a campground road. It’s yet another nice little touch in Grech RVs that gives you a carefree RV experience.
A view with the rear doors open gives you an idea the kind of extra space you get with the Twin floorplan. Perfect for outdoor toys you may want to stow.
Extra Details for Potential Buyers
Appearances Can Be … Revealing
Grech RVs have a refined and understated elegance — so much so that they camouflage themselves in cities and suburban neighborhoods. From the outside, they look very much like an ordinary Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. A nice one. All appliances and extrusions on the roof of these RVs (like the A/C and the awning cap) are painted to match the exterior color. So, unless you have a discerning eye, it’s hard to tell you’re looking at an RV — which is especially nice for RVers who live in an HOA community.
Another cool feature is that there isn’t a single utility access hole cut into any of the side walls of Grech RVs. Instead, all the utility access points are concealed beneath a protective strip of stainless steel along the bottom quarter of the RV. Again, it’s in keeping with the RV’s elegant appearance. But there is more to this than good looks. No intrusion points mean fewer places water can get in. (It also means you don’t need to protect your RV from water damage with yearly resealing.)
The Fun-to-Drive Factor
The Turismo-ion Twin AWD is built on a fully optioned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. And it has super comfortable seats. In the Turismo-ion, you get adjustable heated and cooled driver and front passenger seats. Both driver and passenger seats have programmable memory for the seat position preferences of up to two people. Both driver and front passenger get a sumptuous, memory foam captain chair that has lumbar support.
A raised driving position and expansive windows offer an impressive view of the road. All the controls Sprinter are easy to find and within easy reach while you’re driving. The list of goodies goes on. A nice, big touch screen that includes a back-up camera and an on-board navigation system. And beautiful AWD handling. It felt remarkably responsive and had plenty of power for climbing hills. The Turismo-ion Twin AWD would be just at home running around town as it would be exploring the backcountry.
Extending Your Drive Off-Grid
On that note, the Turismo-ion Twin AWD is well-equipped to take you off the grid for up to six days at a time. That being said, it’s kitted out with 200 watts of solar panels, and a 1,260-amp-hour lithium-Ion battery package as well as a 3000-watt Xantrex inverter. The Turismo-ion Twin AWD also charges its batteries whenever you’re driving, so you don’t need to rely on sunny days to maintain your power supply.

After the Sale Service
Grech RV is a relative newcomer to the RV industry, but its time in the luxury vehicle game (long before jumping into the RV market in 2021) means it has a refreshingly different approach to customer service.
Right from the start, Grech RV raised the bar for the RV industry with its quick response to customer concerns and outstanding commitment to both quality and customer service
If a Grech RV customer has an issue with their RV, Grech RV wants you to give them— not your dealer —the first call. (They even provide you with a personal number.) Doing so, Grech RV has been able to diagnose over 90 percent of problems without an owner ever having to waste time, money, or energy with maintenance.
If maintenance is required, Grech RV is there for that too, even helping arrange for an approved technician to fix it right away. This level of customer care is unusual — and it’s the kind of service we’d love to see the entire RV industry match.
The Grech RV Turismo-ion Tour is designed to take you — and up to three of your favorite traveling companions — off the beaten path for a carefree and flawless RV camping experience. The smallest Class B in the Grech RV lineup, the Turismo-ion is a nimble and efficient 19-foot, all-electric RV with a144-inch wheelbase. As with all Grech RVs, the Turismo-ion is built on a fully loaded diesel Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Together, the shorter wheelbase and fully featured chassis give the Turismo-ion Tour AWD delightful maneuverability and prowess. This Class B is definitely meant to take you exploring roads less traveled and beyond.
The Difference in the Turismo-ion Floorplans
The Turismo-ion is available in two floorplans. The Tour is arranged with a lounge area in the back, with a sofa and two ottomans situated in the rear of the RV. A very cool Lagune table can also be set up quickly as needed. The Twin floorplan is the same as the Tour in every way, except two reclining sofas are arranged across from one another that, instead of the sofa and twin ottomans found in the Tour. In short, the Tour option gives you room for more passengers (four); and the Twin adds additional space in the cabin to store larger items (like a surfboard, fishing gear, or a bicycle) between the sofas.
So, if you’re looking for a luxurious, expedition-ready, Class B that fits up to four people, the Turismo-ion Tour could be exactly what you’re looking for. Just like its bigger Class B siblings — the 24-foot Strada-ion and the 22-foot Terreno-ion — the Turismo-ion is loaded with luxurious amenities. And it’s ample proof that big things can come in small packages.

What You Asked Us to Review
RV Trader asked RV shoppers (like you) what was most important to them in their RV buying process. And those shoppers came up with a list of six key areas: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, kitchen, four-season capability, and storage.
Suffice it to say, you can expect those categories to be assessed in every RV review from RV Trader. You can also trust RV Trader to conduct an independent RV reviews process for each RV, hiring experienced RV experts to evaluate each model.
I’m Lynne, and that’s where I come in. I’m an RV expert, and when I review an RV, my goal is always to review it objectively. So, when RV Trader sent me to evaluate six Grech RV models and floorplans in Riverside, California, I did exactly that. I went over every inch of this RV and put together an objective, unbiased review that I hope will be valuable to RV shoppers.
So, let’s get rolling with my review of the Tour floorplan of the Grech RV Turismo-ion AWD RV.
Sleeping Space
In the rear of this Class B, you’ll find a plush ultraleather, memory-foam sofa with twin ottomans and a 24-inch LED smart TV with a premium soundbar. When it’s time for bed, you can use either the phone app or one of two mounted Firefly touchscreen controllers, and the sofa and both ottomans transform into a massive and very comfortable 66-inch by 76-inch bed. Trust me, it’s much easier (and way more fun) to use a touchpad or app than to pull and push a sofa into position! In fact, I kind of suspect the Firefly technology just might have spoiled me for more traditional approaches to Class B camping.
Now, if you like to watch TV or movies in bed (who doesn’t), you’ll love the reclining sofa in the Turismo-ion Tour. The Firefly app lets you pick your favorite recline angle for watching the TV. I loved that you can also adjust the angle of the smart TV to get a truly premium viewing experience.
Other undeniably cool features are 110V power outlets and USB charging outlets, complete with handy built-in shelves in the rear area of the Turismo RVs. This lets you plug in a laptop or charge smaller devices nearby while you sleep.
When It’s Time to Turn Out the Lights
Before you go to bed, you’ll want to go to the Firefly panel (or the Firefly App on your phone) and choose the Shades option. From there, you can choose the Master option to lower all the shades. Also, the panel or app lets you choose just the shades you want to lower with individual options. The Firefly system is nearly flawless technology that’s designed to be easy to use without any learning curve.
Another thing I loved in the Grech RVs are the insect screens on the side and rear doors. The power insect screen at the back drops from the top of the doorway to protect RV occupants. This feature lets you have the rear doors open without worrying about mosquitos coming in. That means, you could back the Turismo-ion Tour up to a beautiful lake. open the rear doors, drop the screen, and enjoy a beautiful view — without being bitten by bugs.
Tour living area before conversion into sleeping area. When converted, the sofa lies back and ottomons converge inward to make a spacious sleeping space. Best of all, it’s controlled by touchscreen or app.
Bathroom
The Turismo-ion Tour has a spacious wet bath that’s packed with features that give it an aura of elegant luxury. It’s true that many RV wet baths can feel cramped. But this one has an airy and spacious feel. One reason why is its concealed window and the three mirrors strategically placed to reflect light. Surfaces in the bathroom are light colored and glossy, which also helps them to reflect light. The end result is that lighting in this wet bath is so good that it would be easy to shave or do makeup. Those who desire more privacy can pull the manual shade closed (even though the window is already invisible from the outside). It’s always good to have options.
I also loved that the toilet is ceramic because ceramic RV toilets are easy to clean. Ceramic RV toilets maintain their appearance for much longer than the plastic toilets commonly found in RV bathrooms.
Bathroom Features We Love
One-piece, easy-to-clean, high-gloss surface
Excellent lighting for shaving or makeup
Concealed bathroom window
Pull-out, multiposition shaving/makeup mirror
Pull-out faucet and transforms into a shower head
Multiple hooks for hanging towels and washcloths
Manual pull-down window shade
Cloth shower curtain to contain moisture
Large mirror that can be used outside the bathroom when door is open
Protected toilet tissue holder that keeps toilet tissue dry while someone showers
This wet bath — in Grech RVs smallest Class B — gets so many things right. Breathability. The window opens. Privacy, the window is concealed. The surfaces are smooth and the mirrors multiply light in a small space so it never feels cramped.
Again, little touches go a long way. Love this pull-out faucet that turns into a shower head.
Living Area
As mentioned, there’s a comfy lounge area at the rear of the Turismo-ion Tour floorplan. It has its own multiposition Lagun style table, which can be quickly deployed or removed as needed. It’s nice to have this separate seating area. That way RV travelers can use the front and rear of the RV for different activities. In addition to the lounge area, the Turismo-ion Tour’s sumptuous and fully adjustable captain’s chairs swivel around to face the main area of the RV. This creates an additional seating area without compromising room in this space conscious RV. What’s more, the seat closest to the door can be positioned to make use of a pop-up table that deploys from the end of the kitchen cabinetry.
I loved the versatility of this space-efficient floorplan. It’s actually laid out so someone could be relaxing in the rear lounge area watching TV or playing games while someone else could be doing work-related tasks in the front section. I also loved that the one-touch power side door has its own manually operated screen door to keep the bugs out of the RV. This lets you have the door open while you do things inside the RV.
Taking the Living Space Outdoors
Outside, there’s a generous awning (with a wind sensor) that adds sheltered outdoor living area to the Turismo-ion Tour. The Firefly App (or touch pad) lets you easily control and adjust both the awning and its adjustable lighting. I loved the design-conscious way that Grech RV adds its power awning to the side of all of its RVs. Instead of just plunking it next to the roof of the RV and screwing it on, Grech RV maintains the visual integrity of their RV’s elegant exterior appearance. The result is an artistically aerodynamic and elegant design. It’s the kind of keen attention to detail that helps create trust in Grech RV’s craftsmanship and quality. These are the little things that make a big difference in how you perceive an RV brand.
To take even more living space outdoors, the exterior side of the rear door power shade is white. With the rear doors open, it makes a perfect projection screen for enjoying movie nights under the stars. All you’d need to add would be a starry night, a projector and popcorn. I was impressed that Grech RV made one side of this particular shade white on all its 2025 RVs in response to a customer input — an often underused commodity in the RV industry.
The captain’s chairs in the cockpit swivel, which increases the sociability of the entire living space.
At the back of the cabin, you can really relax. The seating space is comfy and complete with 24-inch LED smart TV.
If you love the outdoors but don’t love bugs then you’ll love this screen door. With the Firefly panel or app, you can also deploy a screen in the rear of the vehicle as well.
An awesome view of the awning, which is very large for a Class B this size.
Kitchen
The kitchen area of the Turismo-ion Tour has a lot of features that we’ve become accustomed to seeing in larger RVs. There’s a lot to love in this functional kitchen. The gorgeous quartz countertops maximize counter space with a two-induction cooktop and a removable insert that can be placed over the deep, farmhouse-style sink. At the end of the kitchen cabinets, there’s a well-placed pop-up table that can either add to the kitchen work area or be used as a table/desk. All of this makes for an unexpectedly practical and functional galley-style kitchen in a Class B.
The Turismo-ion Tour AWD boasts an energy-efficient induction range, a combination convection oven/air fryer/microwave, and a small fridge. Kitchen storage is adequate in gorgeous solid hardwood cabinets and drawers. Here’s a list of the features I loved about this RV kitchen.
Flip-up work surface/table
Quartz countertops
Two-burner induction stove
Combination microwave/convection/air fryer
Large farmhouse-style sink
Faucet with pull-out sprayer
Large 12V refrigerator with bottom freezer
Plenty of storage in hardwood cabinets and drawers
Integrated flip out storage caddy under the sink for dishwashing tools
The large, farmhouse-style sink commands immediate attention, as does the quartz countertop.
The flip-out countertop extends your surface area substantially in the galley. It can also be used as a work surface while sitting in the swiveled captain’s chair on the passenger side.
Here’s where you can find the Turismo-ion Tour’s small fridge and freezer.
Just a little look on the inside of the fridge. Notice the small freezer in the top left compartment.
Four-Season Capability
Grech RV puts multiple layers of insulation into all its RV floors, walls, and ceilings. Freshwater and gray water tanks are insulated and heated too. The Gree air conditioner doubles as a delightfully quiet heat pump that keeps things nice and cozy when you want to camp in cooler temperatures. However, when it’s really cold out, you have options. There’s a quiet Timberline heater that operates on diesel. It’s nice to have the choice of two different heating appliances. Neither of which involve filling/lugging a propane bottle.
While all these features help occupants to stay comfortable, Grech RV spokesperson John Black is quick to point out that these RVs are not designed to be used in extreme cold (e.g., a typical Canadian winter). However, these RVs will keep you comfortable for four seasons where winter temperatures are even slightly milder. With that in mind, the Turismo-ion Tour is probably better classified as a three-and-a-half-season camper.
Storage Space
For its size, the Turismo-ion Tour AWD has impressive storage capacity inside. In the cabin, that storage takes the form of spacious, beautifully handcrafted hardwood cabinets. There’s lots of room to store all the essentials including bedding, clothing, and food. There’s enough room here to store everything you need for a road trip or a few days of camping. We were also delighted to find multiple shelves and cubbies throughout the RV where you could securely stash a book or an electronic device.
One drawback of the Tour floorplan is that you need to be creative to store larger items — like grills, bicycles, or camp chairs. Being a Class B, the cabin crowds quickly. However, the Turismo-ion Tour’s 5000-pound towing capacity makes it easy enough to tow a small trailer that could carry these items and more.
A Closer Look at Those Cabinets
Cabinets in Grech RVs are beautifully crafted from high grade birch plywood using light or dark wood veneers. But it’s not all about beauty here: There is no MDF (otherwise known as particle board) in these cabinets at all. This gives the cabinets stronger structural integrity and helps ensure their longevity. It’s also another nice touch of luxury from Grech RV.
The cabinets are also highly functional. They lock with an easy click of a pop-out button on the cabinet handle. Locking the cabinets keeps them from opening and spilling their contents while you’re bumping along a campground road.
A cabinet, shown here, locked and depressed.
Press the button, and it rises so that you can easily unlatch a compartment.
The insides of the cabinets are also lit, although you can turn the lights off with the Firefly touchscreen or app.
Final Thoughts for a Buyer
More Than Just Good Looks
All Grech RVs have a refined and understated elegance. And those good looks have an additional benefit: They blend into daily life naturally. From the outside, the Turismo-ion Tour AWD looks very much like an ordinary Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. The appliances and extrusions on its roof are painted to match the exterior color. So, unless you have a discerning eye, it’s hard to tell you’re looking at an RV. For an RVer who lives in an HOA community, it’s a natural fit.
Another cool feature is that there isn’t a single utility access hole cut into side walls of Grech RVs. Instead, all the utility access points are concealed beneath a protective strip of stainless steel along the bottom quarter of the RV. Sure, it’s in keeping with the Turismo-ion Tour’s elegant appearance. But again, there is more to this than good looks. This feature is highly functional: No intrusion points mean fewer places water can get in. It also means you don’t need to protect your RV from water damage with yearly resealing.
The Turismo-ion Tour Is a Joy to Drive
The Turismo-ion Tour AWD is built on a fully optioned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Comfortable seats are essential to enjoying any road trip. In the Turismo you get adjustable heated and cooled driver and front passenger seats. Both driver and passenger seats have programmable memory for the seat position preferences of up to 2 people. Both driver and front passenger get a sumptuous, memory foam captain chair that has lumbar support.
A raised driving position and expansive windows offered an impressive view of the road. All the controls are easy to find and within easy reach while you’re driving. The list of goodies includes a nice, big touchscreen that includes a back-up camera and an on-board navigation system. The Turismo-ion Tour AWD handled beautifully. It felt remarkably responsive and had plenty of power for climbing hills. The Turismo would be just at home running around town as it would be exploring the backcountry.
On that note. The Turismo-ion Tour AWD is well-equipped to take you off the grid for up to six days at a time. It’s kitted out with 200 Watts of solar panels, and a 1,260 amp-hour lithium-ion battery package as well as a 3000-Watt Xantrex inverter. The Turismo-ion Tour even charges its batteries whenever you’re driving.

Really enjoyed the controls with programmable memory for the seat position preferences for different drivers.
The Definition of Integrity
After exploring the interior and exterior features of the Grech RVs I can’t say I was surprised when I looked underneath the chassis. Here’s what I found. A look underneath the Turismo-ion’s larger sister model — the Strada-ion Tour — revealed an incredibly neat and tidy undercarriage. Nothing was out of place. There were no mystery wires. There were no misplaced screws. Instead, there were gleaming stainless-steel brackets. And perfect welds. And not a nut or bolt out of place.
Not only that, the holding tanks were custom-made to fit perfectly under the RV, to help ensure that no space is wasted, providing Turismo owners with the maximum possible holding capacity. Clearly, Grech RV cares so much about quality that they enforce it in places no one else is looking.
It’s Not Just the Build — It’s After the Sale Service
That integrity extends to their service experience. Grech RV raises the bar for the RV industry with its quick response to customer concerns and outstanding commitment to both quality and customer service — a huge and often overlooked differentiator.
For Grech RV owner who have issues with their RV, they are advised to give Grech RV — not their dealer —the first call. As a result, Grech RV has been able to diagnose over 90 percent of problems without an owner ever having to waste time, money, or energy with maintenance. And if a repair is required, Grech RV helps arrange for an approved technician to fix it right away.
Grech RV builds in their access panels. Which means no cutting and reduced intrusion points. Note also the quality of the build. Not a bolt is out of line, a characteristic the Grech RV brand — even in places you’ll likely never look.
Looking for a two-person Class B RV that will take you off-grid, but don’t want to forgo any modern conveniences? You’re going to love the luxurious Grech RV Terreno-ion Twin AWD. This mid-sized Class B is designed to get you and your favorite traveling companion well off the beaten path for a carefree and flawless RV camping experience.
Available in AWD, the Grech RV Terreno-ion has two well-considered floorplans: the Tour and the Twin. Both floorplans are built on a fully electric, fully optioned, 170-inch Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The 22-foot, 8-inch Terreno-ion is roughly two feet shorter than its siblings, the extended Grech RV Strada-ion Lounge and Tour models. This makes it nimble and better suited to go boondocking off-road than its slightly longer sibling. Right in the middle of the Grech RV line, the Terreno-ion Twin is also almost two feet longer than the smallest RV in Grech’s lineup, the Grech RV Turismo-ion.
Two Terreno-Ion Floorplans
There are some key differences between the Terreno-ion’s two floorplans that make each of them appeal to a different RV buyer. To start with, the Tour floorplan has seat belts for up to seven passengers, while the Twin floorplan only has seating for two people. However, the big upside of the Twin floorplan is the extra space for extra large toys — bikes, paddleboards, et cetera — between the twin sofas.
So, if you’re looking for a spacious and luxurious Class B that’s perfect for one or two people, with more space to store your gear, the Grech RV Terreno-ion Twin floorplan could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Some might not like having a wet bath.

How RV Trader Does Reviews
At RV Trader, we asked RV shoppers (like you) what was most important to them in their RV buying process. And those shoppers came up with a list of six key areas: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, kitchen, four-season capability, and storage. So, you can expect those categories to be evaluated in every RV Trader review.
RV Trader is committed to an independent RV reviews process and hires experienced RV experts to evaluate each model.
I’m Lynne, and that’s where I came in. I’m an RV expert. When I review RVs, my goal is always to perform each review objectively. And when RV Trader sent me to the Grech RV showroom in Riverside, California, I did exactly that. While there, I carefully examined the Terreno-ion Twin AWD in person. Here’s what I saw.
Sleeping Space
In the rear of this RV, you’ll find two comfy ultraleather sofas that face one another along with an entertainment center that includes an LED smart TV and a premium soundbar. When it’s time for bed, I loved that I could simply use either the wall mounted Firefly touchscreen controller or the phone app to recline both sofas into a comfortable 66-inch by 76-inch bed.
With that being said, each sofa is in itself a comfortable sleeping space, so two travelers can sleep separately too.
Before you go to bed, you’ll want to go to the Firefly panel (or the Firefly App on your phone) and choose Shades. From there, you can either choose the Master option to lower all the shades, or just choose the shades you want to lower with individual options.
A Little Fresh Air
I always like sleeping with the windows open so I was delighted to find that Grech RV campers have a power screen that drops down to fully protect the interior from bugs. I could easily imagine waking up in the morning, rear doors wide open, enjoying a stunning view in one of the many beautiful places across the US. Nice touch, Grech.
Other cool features you’ll find in the sleeping area include the handy 110V power outlets and USB charging outlets complete with built in shelves. This feature lets you charge your electronics while you sleep (or whenever).
The Firefly touchscreen controls (and app) convert the sofas into a 66-inch by 76-inch sleeping space. But as you can see here, the two sofas are also large enough to comfortably sleep separately too.
Screens not only cover the rear hatch and side door entry points to keep bugs out. There’s also a projector screen for outdoor movie viewing in the back.
Bathroom
The Twin floorplan has a spacious wet bath that’s packed with features. Like everything Grech RV does in the RVs I looked at, the bathroom was seamlessly elegant. There’s plenty of good light for shaving or makeup, for those that are so inclined. Walls are glossy and easy to keep clean, without any seams to maintain. In addition, there were a lot of little details here that added up to a well-appointed bathroom that felt far from cramped.
One of these details is the window in the bathroom that’s ingeniously concealed from the outside. However, there’s still a pull-down shade for additional privacy. (It’s always nice to have options.) There are also three mirrors that help the bathroom in the Terreno-ion Twin feel spacious and airy. One of these is mounted on the door so it can be used outside the bathroom when the door is open.
I loved that there’s a ceramic toilet with a macerator in the bathroom. Ceramic toilets are a breeze to clean compared to their plastic counterparts. Having a macerator helps to keep black tank odors at bay and minimizes black-tank-related chores.
Other cool features in the bathroom of the Terreno-ion Twin are:
Excellent lighting for shaving or makeup
Generous vanity mirror
Pullout, multi-position shaving/makeup mirror
Faucet that transforms into a shower head
Hooks for hanging towels and washcloths
Concealed window with a window shade for privacy
Ceramic toilet with macerator
Cloth shower curtain
Large mirror on door
Protected toilet tissue holder to keep toilet tissue dry
Clever features, like this concealed window, keep the wet bath from feeling claustrophobic.
Mirrors collapses against the wall to create space, and the faucet can be extended from the sink to become a shower head.
The macerator. A wonderful convenience, especially on a Class B, that will keep your black tank duties to a minimum.
Living Area
Aside from the lounge area at the rear of the RV with its own Lagun style table, the Terreno-ion Twin’s fully adjustable front seats swivel to face the living area. This gives you additional seating options. I loved that the captain’s chair closest to the one-touch power door can be positioned to make use of a little table that pops out from the end of the kitchen cabinets. This could give you an extra work surface, or it could be used to extend the kitchen countertops.
No potentially useful space is wasted in the Terreno-ion Twin floorplan. With that being said, the driver’s seat also swivels to face a smaller flip up table that can extend from the wall behind it. So two remote workers could work side-by-side and work on projects together.
I really liked the versatility of the Twin. It’s laid out so people could be relaxing in the rear lounge area while others are doing work related tasks at the front. And all this can be done with the power side door open because it has its own screen door to protect against insects.
Extending the Space Outside
Outside, there’s a generous awning (with a wind sensor) that adds sheltered outdoor living area to the Terreno-ion Twin. The Firefly App (or touch pad) lets you control both the awning and its adjustable lighting. I loved the design-conscious way that Grech RV adds its power awning to the side of all Grech RVs. Instead of just plunking it next to the roof of the RV and screwing it on, Grech RV maintains the visual integrity of their RV’s elegant exterior appearance. The result is an artistically aerodynamic design that reveals keen attention to detail.
In addition, the power shade that drops from the top of the rear doorway is white on the outside. This happens to make it a perfect movie screen. All you’d need to add is a starry night, a projector and popcorn for a perfect movie night under the stars.
The captain’s chairs swivel, and the flip-top counter extension next to the passenger seat could increase your surface for remote work.
A gorgeous view gazing down the cabin. See the sofas in parallel with one another.
Looking toward the front, from the lounge and down the galley to the cockpit.
Kitchen
The galley-style kitchen area of the Terreno-ion Twin has enough cool features to keep almost any camp chef happy. After all, this functional kitchen boasts gorgeous quartz countertops, a surprising amount of storage space, a farmhouse sink with a pull-down faucet, and versatile appliances that make the most of limited space. For appliances, The Terreno-ion Twin offers an induction range, a combination convection oven/air-fryer/microwave, and a generous fridge with a roomy freezer on the bottom.
As with any Class B RV kitchen, counter space is limited here. But not to worry: Grech RV gets around this inherent issue with an integrated induction cooktop and a removable countertop cover that fits over the sink to increase usable counter surface. As previously mentioned, there’s also a flip-up table/work surface mentioned earlier that could be used as a kitchen area too. All of this makes for a surprisingly practical and functional galley style kitchen in this 22-foot, 8-inch RV.
Storage and Stuff
Kitchen storage is contained in many solid hardwood cabinets and drawers. I really loved that all the Grech RVs have locking cabinets so dry goods and dishes stay in place. This is perhaps especially handy when you go off road to more remote campsites. Here’s a list of other features I loved about the kitchen in the Terreno-ion Twin.
Flip-up work surface/table
Quartz countertops
Two-burner induction stove
Combination microwave/convection/airfryer
Big,“farmhouse style sink
Faucet with pull-out sprayer
Large 12V refrigerator with a separate freezer
Plenty of storage in hardwood cabinets and drawers
A handy flip-out storage caddy under the sink for a pot scrubber or other dishwashing tools
A clean look at that quartz countertop with the cover over the farmhouse-style sink. Note also all the storage space under the sink.
The faucet pulls out to give you a little extra mobility in the galley.
The fridge and freeze are super spacious — especially for a Class B.
Four-Season Capability
Grech RV puts multiple layers of insulation into all of its RV floors, walls, and ceilings. Freshwater and gray water tanks are insulated and heated too. The Gree air conditioner doubles as a delightfully quiet heat pump. However, in really cold weather, there’s an efficient Timberline heater that operates on diesel. It’s nice to have both options and nicer still to not have to worry about filling and lugging propane bottles. There’s enough in the Grech RVs to keep you comfy and cozy for at least most of the year.
However, Grech RV spokesperson John Black was quick to point out that these RVs are not designed for use in extreme cold (e.g., a typical Canadian winter). With that said, these RVs are designed for comfortable camping for four seasons where winter temperatures are relatively mild and three seasons where winter temperatures drop well below freezing.
Storage Space
One of the challenges of most Class B RVs is where to put stuff so it stays organized enough that we can find it. Both floorplans of the Terreno-ion have impressive storage capacity in many spacious and beautifully handcrafted birch hardwood cabinets. However, the twin bed floorplan also has the advantage of having a perfect storage space for fishing gear, a paddleboard, or a bicycle in the space between the two sofas at the back of the RV.
The Terreno-ion Twin beds include a massive wardrobe cabinet near the front of the RV. It’s big enough to hold items like jackets and/or camping chairs. However If you need more space to store food, the wardrobe cabinet could easily lend itself to pantry storage with the addition of shelves. We were also delighted to find lots of shelves throughout the Terreno-ion Twin that could be used to stash books, laptops, or electronic devices.
Side Note on the Cabinets
Cabinets in Grech RVs are beautifully hand-crafted from high grade birch plywood available in either a light or dark stain. It’s a relief that there is no MDF (otherwise known as particle board) in Grech RVs. MDF has a tendency to swell and disintegrate over time in any RV. It’s a real annoyance that shortens the useful life of many RVs. Compared to MDF, plywood is impervious to moisture and offers structural integrity to cabinets.
There’s a wonderful amount of (lit) cabinet space in the Terreno-ion Twin. Note: No particle board here. The cabinets are high-grade birch plywood, which you can get with a light or dark stain.

Exterior Niceties
As previously noted, Grech RVs have a refined and understated elegance. From the outside, they look very much like an ordinary Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van. Appliances and extrusions on the roof of these RVs are painted to match the exterior color. So unless you have a discerning eye, it’s hard to tell you’re looking at an RV. It makes them an especially natural fit for RVers that live in HOA communities.
Another cool feature is that there isn’t a single utility access hole cut into the side walls of Grech RVs. Instead, all of the utility access points are concealed beneath a protective strip of stainless steel along the bottom quarter of the RV. Again, it’s in keeping with the RV’s elegant appearance. However, there is more to this than good looks. It’s this: No intrusion points means fewer places water can get in. It also means you don’t need to protect your RV from water damage with yearly resealing.
It’s a Pleasure to Drive
While I didn’t get to test drive this particular floorplan, my test drives of two other Grech RVs reconfirmed my love for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The 4-cylinder, 9-speed diesel chassis is fun to drive. To start with, Its raised driving position and expansive windshield offer an impressive view of the road. The fully optioned chassis gives you fully adjustable heated and cooled driver and front passenger seats. Each of them can be programmed to remember the precise seat position of up to three drivers. The seats themselves feature comforts like memory foam, heating, cooling, and lumbar support.
All of the driver’s controls are easy to find and well within reach. This includes Mercedes’ easy to operate touch screen with on board navigation. Apart from that, this vehicle handled beautifully. It was remarkably responsive and felt quick and had plenty of power, even on steep grades.

Impressions About Grech RV
Grech RV is a relative newcomer to the RV industry. However, this family-owned company has been making sought after luxury limousines and buses for more than 40 years. So Grech RV had time to develop its luxury vehicle game long before jumping into the RV market in 2021.
Right from the start, Grech RV did away with most of the pain-points that RVers often have with Class B RVs. Further, the attention to detail in Grech RVs is phenomenal. Every contour, every feature and every amenity has been meticulously thought out and exquisitely crafted.
Grech RV raised the bar for the RV industry within a few short years of its entry into the RV industry with its quick response to customer concerns and outstanding commitment to both quality and customer service — a huge and often overlooked differentiator in the industry.
The Customer Service Difference
If a customer has an issue with their RV, they are advised to give Grech RV — not their dealer — the first call. (They even give you a personal number.) Giving Grech RV the first call helps owners to diagnose over 90 percent of problems. Which reduces wasted time, money, and energy over maintenance. If maintenance is required, Grech RV helps arrange for an approved technician to fix it right away. Frankly, it’s a commitment to service we’d love to see the entire RV industry match.
The Grech RV Strada-ion Tour is a masterpiece of quality and design. Based on the Strada linethat launched Grech RV’s reputation in the RV world, this fully electric RV exemplifies uncompromising luxury. To start with, 24-foot Class B motorhome is built around a fully optioned, diesel-powered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Then Grech RV outfits it with an air suspension that gives it an incredibly smooth ride.
Inside, Grech RV designs and crafts the Strada-ion Tour with a well-considered floorplan — and every amenity you can imagine in a Class B RV. There’s even a power system that includes 300W solar panels and 1260 amp hours of lithium-ion battery storage. That means the Strada-ion can take you away from it all and go off-grid for up to six days straight! Grech RV has really thought of every detail to make your RV experience absolutely flawless. To top it all off, Grech’s responsive customer service is almost unheard of in the RV world.
With the Strada-ion, Grech RV lets you choose between two luxurious floorplans. So what makes this plan — the Tour — different from the Strada-ion Lounge we reviewed? The biggest differences between these two RVs lies in seating, cabin storage, and fridge capacity. The Strada-ion Lounge has two extra captain’s chairs behind the cockpit and seats up to nine altogether. The Strada-ion Tour seats seven but also provides additional storage in a large wardrobe and gives owners a much larger refrigerator/freezer combo. Both floorplans sleep two when the lounge area transforms itself into a big, comfortable bed.

Challenges
The Strada-ion Tour is a Class B RV. That means there is an inherent lack of space, even though this RV feels light and bright inside. You can travel with up to seven (which makes for a fun day trip with the family), but there is definitely only sleeping space for two in this luxurious rig. If you take the crew on a multiday trip, some crew members are going to have to be happy sleeping in a tent or finding a hotel room. (Sometimes this can be advantageous though — it’s nice to reclaim your space for the night.)
There are no outdoor storage bays. (Another Class B thing.) Outdoor storage provides easy and mess-free access to outdoor camping gear (chairs, grills, shelters etc). The only thing similar to outdoor storage in the Strada-ion RVs is the storage space behind the sofa. (That means gear would have to be removed before you could transform the sofa and ottomans into a bed.) With that being said, the wardrobe does offer a storage alternative for outdoor gear.
Who Is This For?
This would be a perfect Class B RV for grandparents looking to make memories with their family on day trips and camping adventures.
Digital nomads will love spacious floorplan and cabin storage capacity for work/travel.
RVers who want the option of using their RV to attend events or tailgate picnics with a few very lucky friends.
The RV Trader Review Process
At RV Trader, we asked RV shoppers (like you) what was most important to them in their RV buying process. And those shoppers came up with a list of six key areas: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, kitchen, four-season capability, and storage. So, you can expect those categories to be evaluated in every RV Trader review.
RV Trader is committed to a completely independent and unbiased RV reviews process. That way you have trustworthy and honest reviews you can rely on. That’s why
RV Trader sent me — a self-confessed RV fanatic and expert — to Grech RV in beautiful Riverside, California. I was there to evaluate the Strada-ion Tour, along with five other Grech RVs. My goal is always to look at each RV objectively. That way, RV shoppers will have a completely unbiased review they can use to research the key areas that they want to know more about.
I checked out every inch of the Strada-ion Tour, from the chassis up. Let’s dig into what I found.\
Sleeping Space
In the very back of this RV, you’ll find a very comfortable sofa and two ottomans that transform into a comfortable sleeping area. I loved the way Grech makes it so easy to do this. Many Class Bs have ingenious ways to change a sofa into a bed. They often involve some degree of physical effort. The thing is, when I’m tired enough for bed, the last thing I want to do is expend more of my depleted energy.
Both Grech RV’s wall-mounted Firefly touchpad and Firefly app let you effortlessly transform the Strada Ion Tour’s memory foam sofa and ottomans into a comfy bed. By comfy, I mean a spacious 66-inch by 76-inch bed that I could have easily fallen asleep on. If there are two adults in the space, they can adjust each ottoman to make an aisle at the foot of the bed. In theory, this could make it easier for one person to get out of bed at night with less chance of disturbing the other.
With that being said, Grech RV has you covered if you like to watch a show to unwind before falling asleep. Just use the app to turn down the lights, then recline the back of the sofa to the perfect angle. I loved that the lounge area has a good quality 24-inch LED Smart TV and a fantastic soundbar to watch movies. A convenient feature for me were the multiple built-in shelves for charging devices while you sleep. I also like fresh air when I sleep so I really appreciated the power screen that drops down over the rear doorway. It’s just nice to be able to open the rear doors of the RV to enjoy fresh air and views without being bothered by bugs.
The lounge area, unlike many Class B models, converts on command via your touchscreen control center or app.
Once converted, the lounge area is a massive — and comfortable — sleep surface.
Bathroom
The Strada Lounge has a surprisingly spacious wet bath that’s packed with nice little luxuries. Even if you’re more of a dry bath person (like me) there’s a good chance you’ll love this wet bath (I did). Class B wet baths usually feel a tad claustrophobic. To counter this, Grech put a window in the bathroom that’s completely hidden from the outside. It’s a cool feature. Plus it has a pull down shade that offers additional privacy if you need it. But that’s not all. All told there are three mirrors in the bathroom that really help to amplify light and make the bathroom seem roomy.
Everybody likes having a restroom on board. However, I feel like it’s safe to say that nobody loves dumping the black tank. The Strada-ion Tour addresses this with ceramic flush toilet with a macerator to make the job as inoffensive as possible while eliminating black tank odors in the RV. The macerator effectively grinds waste or TP, so it enters the black tank as liquid. This eliminates the need to carry and store a stinky slinky. Other cool features in the bathroom of the Strada-ion Tour are:
Easy to clean surfaces
Great lighting
Three mirrors including a pullout mirror for shaving or makeup
Faucet that converts to a shower head
Hooks to hang towels and washcloths
Manual pull-down window shade
Cloth shower curtain
Large mirror that can be used outside the bathroom when door is open
Protected toilet tissue holder
Not many Class Bs can pull off a full wet bath. The Strada-ion Tour does. And it doesn’t even feel cramped.
Living Area
Aside from the lounge area at the rear of the RV with its own Lagun style table, the Tour’s fully adjustable front seats swivel to face the living area and provide additional seating space. But that’s not all: The seat closest to the door can be positioned to use the flip up countertop as an additional work surface. The driver’s seat also swivels to face a small, flip up work surface that’s mounted on the wall behind it.
Inside
Grech RV has also taken into account the entertainment requirements of families that travel too. An example is the 24-inch LED smart TV in the lounge area at the rear of this RV that can be connected to a separate gaming system as well as Bluetooth.
I loved the practicality of this floorplan. The Tour is laid out with two more or less distinct areas. This means travelers can relax in the rear lounge area without disturbing someone doing work related tasks in the front section of the RV. By the way, the side door also has an insect screen side door open because it has a screen door to protect against insects..
And Outside!
I loved the way that Grech RV artfully added the power awning to the side of the RV, carefully integrating it into a sleek and elegant exterior design. The awning lets you easily add sheltered outdoor living area to the Tour. It has dimmable lights for evening gatherings, or in case you just want to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of nature.
The power shade at the back of the RV is very cool. That’s because this power shade is more than a mere shade. It can double as an outdoor movie screen with the addition of popcorn and a projector for a movie night under the stars. What a great way to make memories with the family!
Kitchen
The kitchen area of the Strada-ion Tour has a lot of features that we’ve become accustomed to finding in larger RVs. There’s a lot to love in this functional kitchen, including gorgeous quartz countertops. However, like any Class B RV kitchen, counter space is inherently limited.
Grech gets around this common issue with a countertop-integrated induction cooktop and cover over the big farmhouse-style sink. On top of that, they’ve added extra counter space with a flip up table/work surface next to the sliding side door. It all makes for an unexpectedly practical and functional kitchen area.
In addition, this floorplan boasts a combination convection oven/air fryer/microwave, a very generous fridge and freezer and lots of storage space in the solid hardwood cabinets and drawers. The Tour floor plan also has a good-sized wardrobe that could double as a pantry area. Here’s a list of features our experts loved about the kitchen in the Strada Ion Tour.
Flip-up countertop
Two-burner induction Stove
Combination microwave/convection/air fryer
Big, farmhouse-style sink with pull-out faucet
Quartz countertop
Faucet with pull-out sprayer
Large refrigerator/freezer combo
Oodles of cabinet storage
A handy flip out storage spot under the sink for pot scrubbers and other dishwashing tools
A beautiful galley. Note the flip-up countertop, currently latched down on the side surface of the sink.
A sprayer distends from the faucet over the farmhouse-style sink.
This fridge/freezer combo is massive, especially for a Class B. It’s size mirrors that of the bathroom door.
Another feature where the Lounge and Tour differ. There is extra storage under the Tour’s sink.
Four-Season Capability
Like all the Grech RVs, the Strada-ion Tour boasts multiple layers of insulation in its floors, walls and ceilings as well as heated freshwater and gray water tanks. While this helps occupants to stay comfortable and cozy when it’s either hot or cold outside, Grech RV spokesperson John Black is quick to point out that these RVs are not designed to be used in extreme cold (e.g., a typical Canadian winter). With that said, these RVs will keep you comfortable for four seasons where winter temperatures are milder than those in the Great White North.
An all-inclusive utility center prebuilt into the design means nothing is drilled into (or sawed out of) the side, which reduces leak points. Note even the precision in the alignment of the bolts.
Storage
One of the challenges of most Class B RVs is where to put that stuff so it stays organized enough that we can find it. The Tour floor plan has impressive storage capacity that comes in the form of spacious hardwood cabinets, including a generous wardrobe cabinet which is big enough to hold items like jackets and/or camping chairs. (There’s no reason you couldn’t use it for additional pantry storage too.) We were also pleasantly surprised to see plenty of shelves and cubbies where a book or electronic device could be stashed right where we’d need them.
An enormous closet. Or pantry. Use it how you will. This type of storage space is true luxury in a Class B.
Grech RV gives you lots of interior stroage inside the cabin. The cabinets are even lit.
Not a lot of external storage, but there is ample room behind the lounge sofa. Everything does need to be removed, however, when you convert the lounge into a sleeping area.
You Should Also Know
Exterior Appearance
Grech RV’s attention to detail has given the Strada-ion Tour a definite understated elegance. It starts with being built on a top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Then Grech RV adds little things, like the streamlined and seamless integration of the awning and the air conditioner cover that blends perfectly with the Tour’s roof. Then you notice that there isn’t a single hole cut into the sides. Instead, all of the utility access points are concealed under a protective stainless steel strip on the bottom section of the RV. That means there’s no yearly maintenance caulking in to fend off leaks via intrusion points.
What’s Underneath?
After exploring the interior and exterior features of the Grech RVs I can’t say I was surprised when I looked underneath the chassis. Here’s what I found.
A look underneath the Strada Ion Tour revealed an incredibly neat and tidy undercarriage. Nothing was out of place. There were no “mystery wires” or misplaced screws. Instead, there were gleaming stainless steel brackets, perfect welds, and not a nut or bolt out of place. Not only that, the holding tanks were custom-made to fit perfectly under the RV, to help ensure that no space is wasted while providing the maximum possible holding capacity. It’s a meticulous approach to building an RV that will provide many years of flawless and trouble-free RVing.
This RV Is Easy (And Fun!) To Drive
A test drive of the Strada-ion Tour reconfirmed my love for its powerful, fun-to-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. It’s worth mentioning that Grech RV outfits this chassis with every available option. So there are a lot of them. And it makes driving Strada-ion RVs nothing less than delightful.
A raised driving position and expansive windows offered an impressive view of the road. Seats in the Strada-ion Tour are designed for perfect comfort, even on longer road trips. They’re completely adjustable and feature sumptuous comforts like memory foam and heating. All controls are within easy reach, including an on-board navigation system that was easy to operate. Apart from that, this vehicle handled beautifully. It was remarkably responsive and had power to handle steep hills with nothing less than aplomb.

It’s a level of customer care that’s unusual in an industry where RV owners too often find themselves waiting for months for service when something goes amiss.
If you’re looking for a luxurious Class B whose features and quality of build surpasses industry standards, you’re going to like what you see in the Grech RV Strada-ion. This smooth-riding motorhome is built on a diesel-powered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. It’s fully electric, powered by a quiet lithium-ion battery energy storage system. And, maybe best of all, the craftsmanship found in the Strada-ion is backed by one of the most responsive customer service experiences we’ve ever heard of. (More on that at the end.)
The Strada-ion comes in two unique floor plans: Lounge and Tour. Both floorplans are incredibly luxurious, but each is designed to meet the needs of a particular RV user. This model, the Strada-ion Lounge, is the people mover of the pair, seating up to nine passengers. The Strada-ion Tour seats up to seven. (See our review of the Strada-ion Tour.) Each floor plan is a fully featured statement of Grech RV’s dedication to superior design and outstanding build quality.
Let’s talk more about what makes the Strada-ion Lounge stand out.

Challenges
It’s a class B, so it’s a smaller RV space. You can travel with nine, but there’s not space to sleep nine. For short trips, that’s no problem. For longer trips with a bigger crowd, you’ll need to make accommodations, to camp outdoors, or to convoy with another RV.
There’s no outdoor storage for easy access to items like camping chairs or anything else you might be accustomed to store there. All storage is within the cabin.
Who Is This For?
RVers who want to tailgate or travel with friends. Its power gives it the versatility to go off-road, but as a Class B, it’s equally primed for adventures in the city — especially with its luxurious look.
Perfect for grandparents who want to take family members on short road trips or adventures.
It’s an exquisite fit for weekend trips where you want to head out — in luxury. You know, golf excursions and wine-tasting tours with a select group of friends.
How We Did This Review
RV Trader asked RV shoppers what was most important to them in their RV buying process. And they gave us the six key areas: sleeping space, bathroom, living area, kitchen, four-season capability, and storage space. So, you’ll find those categories every RV review. Also, we know RV buyers want to base purchase decisions on unbiased assessments, so RV Trader has committed to independently assess each RV we review.
To evaluate the Strada-ion Lounge, we assigned an expert Rver (that’s me, Lynne) to visit Grech RV in Riverside, California. While there, I carefully examined the Strada-ion Lounge in person. I thoroughly examined everything about this model to come up with an objective, unbiased review that would look at the key areas that shoppers want to learn more about when researching which RV to buy.
So let’s dive in.
Sleeping Area
At the back of the Strada-ion Lounge, you’ll find a lounge area consisting of a very comfortable sofa and two ottomans. When it’s time for bed, you just click a button on the Firefly controller — or just as easily with the phone app — and everything effortlessly transforms into a surprisingly comfortable 66-inch by 76-inch bed. If you like to watch a show to unwind before falling asleep, the Strada-ion has you covered. There’s a 24-inch LED TV with Blu-ray as well as a fantastic soundbar. You’ll also find 110V power outlets and USB charging outlets with places to stash your electronics while they charge.
One of the features unique to all of 2024 Grech RVs (and beyond) is a power screen that drops down over the rear doorway. That way you can enjoy sleeping with that fresh open-air feeling — without being bothered by bugs.

Lounge seats slide inward and the rear sofa moves upward to create a spacious sleeping area.
Bathroom
The Strada-ion Lounge has a space-conscious wet bath that’s packed with features that blend practicality and luxury. To start with, wet baths can often feel a bit claustrophobic. So, even a gentle touch can go a long way. The Strada-ion gives a perfect example, putting a window in the bathroom that’s hidden from the outside. It’s also outfitted with a ceramic flush toilet which gives it a homelike feel. (And it’s easier to clean than the plastic toilets that are frequently used in RVs.) Other cool features in the bathroom of the Strada-ion Lounge are:
Great lighting
Pullout mirror for shaving or makeup
Faucet that converts to a showerhead
Hooks to hang towels and washcloths
Easy-to-clean surfaces
Manual pull-down window shade
Cloth shower curtain
Large mirror that can be used outside the bathroom when door is open
Protected toilet tissue holder
Living Area
Aside from the lounge area at the back of the RV — with its own Lagun style table — the Strada-ionon Lounge has four captain’s chairs at the front that swivel and adjust so everyone can sit around a Lagun table that can be quickly set up as needed. But that’s not all. The seat closest to the door can be positioned to use the flip up countertop as an additional work surface.
Grech RV has also taken into account the diverse entertainment requirements of families that travel together. There are two 24-inch LED TVs: one at the front and one in the lounge area. Both TVs are Bluetooth enabled, so passengers can connect without disturbing others in the RV.
The practicality of this floor plan is also very impressive. It’s laid out so people can relax in the rear lounge area while others can work at the front. That’s especially beneficial if remote work is a part of your lifestyle — or even if you just need to catch up on email. This can all be done with the door wide open because Grech RV provides a screen door to protect you from any insects that might like to wander in.
The Fun Continues Outside
Grech RV also added an integrated power awning with adjustable awning lights that allows you to relax outside the RV. (And no, the Strada-ion will not allow you to drive off with the awning out.) Delightful features simply abound. Who wouldn’t love the power shade at the back of the RV that doubles as a movie screen (if you have a projector) for movie nights? All 2025 Grech RV models have that.

Small features, like the accessibility of a cup holder with a USB port, are nice touches.
Kitchen
The kitchen area of the Strada-ion Lounge has a lot of features that we’ve become accustomed to finding in larger RVs. There’s a lot to love in this functional kitchen. Here’s what I mean:
Massive pantry
Two-burner induction stove
Combination microwave/convection/airfryer
Large, farmhouse-style sink with pull-out faucet
Quartz countertop
Faucet with pull-out sprayer
Refrigerator/freezer combo
Oodles of cabinet storage (we always love that!)
A handy flip-out storage spot for pot scrubbers and other dishwashing tools
View of the galley with quartz countertop.
Mini-fridge with freezer.
Large, farmhouse-style sink with pull-out faucet.
Contoure microwave/airfryer/convection combo.
Four-Season Capability
Like all the Grech RVs, the Strada-ion Lounge boasts multiple layers of insulation in its floors, walls, and ceilings as well as heated freshwater and gray water tanks. While this helps occupants to stay comfortable, Grech RV spokesperson John Black is quick to point out that these RVs are not designed to be used in extreme cold (e.g., a Canadian winter). However, these RVs will keep you comfortable for four seasons where winter temperatures are milder. So, the Strada-ion Lounge is probably better classified as a three-and-a-half-season camper.
One of the greatest elements of weatherproofing for the Strada-ion though is common to all Grech RVs: the quality of the build itself. Because access points, like its all-inclusive utility center, are prebuilt into the design, nothing is drilled into the side. Nothing’s been cut out. No saw has touched it. Which means that leak points common to most Class Bs (and lots of RVs) simply don’t exist in the Strada-ion Lounge.
An all-inclusive utility center prebuilt into the design means nothing is drilled into (or sawed out of) the side, which reduces leak points. Note even the precision in the alignment of the bolts.
Storage
We humans sure like to bring stuff with us when we travel. But that’s a particular challenge for most Class Bs. Where can you put stuff so it stays organized enough that you can find it? Grech ensures there’s plenty of space for storage in the cabin with an abundance of hand-crafted solid hardwood cabinets found all throughout the Lounge. (We were also pleasantly surprised to see plenty of shelves and cubbies where a book or iPad could be stashed right where we’d need them.)
Although the Lounge has no basement storage for camping gear like chairs or grills, it’s spacious enough that there’s a lot of places to stash these items when you’re traveling. Especially for a Class B.
Grech RV gives you lots of interior stroage inside the cabin. The cabinets are even lit.
While there’s no exterior storage, there is space behind the lounge area in the rear of the Strada-ion Lounge.

The Strada-ion Lounge Is Fun to Drive
A test drive of the Strada reconfirmed our love for its powerful, fun-to-drive Mercedes-Benz diesel chassis. It’s worth mentioning that Grech outfits the chassis with every available option, which makes driving the Lounge nothing less than joyful. The raised driving position and expansive windows offer an impressive view of the road. All controls are within easy reach, including an on-board navigation system that was easy to operate. Apart from that, this vehicle handled beautifully. It was remarkably responsive and had sometimes surprising acceleration.

The Overall Build Quality Stands Out
Each element that goes into the Strada-ion Lounge contributes to an RVing experience that is carefree and absolutely perfect. (Honestly, it’s easy to get carried away.) Every detail here has been thought out with the goal of providing a premium RVing experience. It’s little things, like a painted cap for your awning and the roof A/C painted to match the exterior. It’s even unseen things. A look underneath the Strada-ion Lounge reveals stainless steel brackets, perfect welds, and not a bolt out of place. To make sure they don’t detract from that, all the holding tanks have been 3D printed to spec, offering a precision fit beneath the RV. It’s all part of a meticulous approach to building RVs that will last for years without any of the issues RVs are commonly prone to.
A Giant Grech RV Takeaway
Grech Motors is a relative newcomer to the RV industry. However, this family-owned company has been making sought after luxury limousines and buses for more than 40 years. So Grech RV had time to develop its luxury vehicle game long before jumping into the RV market in 2021.
Right from the start, Grech RV did away with most of the pain-points that RVers often have with Class B RVs.Grech RV raised the bar for the RV industry within a few short years of its entry into the RV industry with its quick response to customer concerns and outstanding commitment to both quality and customer service — a huge and often overlooked differentiator in the industry.
If a Grech RV customer has an issue with their RV, they are advised to give Grech RV — not their dealer —the first call. (They even provide you with a personal number.) That kind of responsive customer service enables Grech RV to diagnose over 90 percent of problems without an owner ever having to waste time, money, or energy with maintenance. And if maintenance is required, Grech RV helps arrange for an approved technician to fix it right away. It’s a level of customer care that’s unusual in an industry where RV owners too often find themselves waiting for months for service when something goes amiss. And it’s the kind of service we’d love to see the entire RV industry match.
