Leisure Travel Vans Transforms the Open Road with the All-New 2016 Unity FX

    ● The Unity FX’s Leisure Lounge System offers a completely-new living space that’s flexible and versatile—a compact motorhome that punches above its weight.

    ● All the comforts of home—a nearly king-size 68” x 76” Murphy Bed, large picture windows, an abundance of creature comforts, and incredible interior and exterior storage.

    ● More features, more customization, and more options for the road ahead.

Winkler, Manitoba, December 14th, 2015—Leisure Travel Vans, a division of Triple E Recreational Vehicles, is proud to launch the 2016 Unity U24FX, an all-new design based around total living-space customization with its innovative Leisure Lounge System, Murphy Bed, second living area, and the attention to detail Leisure Travel Vans has become known for in the industry.

“We’re fired up about the Unity FX,” says Ryan Elias, General Manager of Triple E RV. “We designed it around some great customer feedback and are confident that the FX is going to be a popular model.”

The Unity FX’s magic is in the Leisure Lounge System. Completely customizable for every living occassion, the Leisure Lounge can transform into any arrangement (couch, lounge, chaise, and dinette), while a second living space in the rear offers even more options for relaxing and entertaining with a residential-style sectional sofa with an integrated ottoman that makes a perfect foot-rest, coffee table, or work desk. Better yet, the clever three-stop bathroom door – gives you more floor space where you need it and less where you don’t.

At night, the FX transforms again, this time into a massive 68” x 76” Murphy Bed with an all-new completely adjustable headrest for reading, watching a movie on the optional 28-inch LED TV, or just thinking about the next day’s journey. And for a hot shower after a long drive, the Unity FX features an optional German-built, Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus on-demand 60K BTU hot-water system, the most powerful water heater available on the market.

The new interior package features Italian-designed, matte-finish upper cabinet doors with soft-close technology, while its scratch resistant, anti-fingerprint and anti-bacterial surface combines clever design with functionality. And with white Corian® countertops, indirect LED lighting and a choice of three solid-wood cabinet options, quality European style and modern luxury combine to meet you on the road ahead.

Available in four exterior colours — Euro Sport, White Suede, Silver and the new Ice Silver — the FX is built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis and is powered by the fuel-efficient 3.0L V6 BlueTEC Turbo Diesel engine with 188 HP and 325 ft-lb of torque. With an estimated 16-19 MPG, the Unity FX packs plenty of punch without sacrificing fuel economy.

The Unity FX starts at $126,750 USD. Delivery to dealers will commence in February 2016. RVers can view and experience Unity Flex at the upcoming Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, January 13-17, 2015.

  • Increase Sales to the Millennial Generation

Increase in RV Sales to the Millennial Generation

While baby boomers entering retirement are still leading the pack in sales, the millennial generation is getting all the attention. This group of young adults born in the 1980s and 1990s is showing an increased interest in camping and RVs.

Boom in RV Sales to Millennials

According to a recent study done by Kampgrounds of American, 60 percent of millennials say they plan to camp more often in the upcoming years. This number is even higher than the 40 percent of baby boomers who made the same claim. In addition, more millennials have plans to buy a new RV than baby boomers. Several factors are causing this boom, including the fact that millennials are just now starting families, and that they currently make up the largest percentage of the American workforce.

What Features Does This Generation Want

This increased interest in RVing can translate into a boost in sales for your RV business. The trick is to know how to sell RVs to this new generation by knowing exactly what they are looking for in a model. These are the top three things millennial buyers want.
    1. Advanced technology: This is the first generation raised with access to the Internet and advanced technology. They are looking for tech features, such as flat-screen TVs, smartphone integration, sound systems, Wi-Fi capabilities and charging stations.
    2. Efficiency: Millennials certainly want RV models that are fuel- and energy-efficient, but they’re also looking for efficient living quarters. They want things like unique storage options, features that serve dual purposes and overall functionality.
    3. Fitness features: This generation is all about fitness and exploring the outdoors. They look for RVs that have space to store their bikes, kayaks and other equipment, as well as features that allow them to set up an outdoor living space.
Millennials may initially buy less expensive RVs than the baby boomer generation, but they are more likely to be repeat customers. Remember that millennials may be ready in a few years to sell their current RV and upgrade to a newer model.
Millennials will have done a lot of online research before coming to your dealership. They will know exactly what they are looking for and what they want. Your best chance to capture a sale is to guide millennial customers to the RVs that meet their criteria. Contact RV Trader for more helpful tips to generate sales at your RV dealership.

The following article was provided by Rover Pass.
If you’re lucky enough to own an Airstream, you might be thinking about giving it a bit of make over but are worried about the time and expense associated with a restoration. Working on an Airstream is often times a long, crazy adventure that never quite ends.  But don’t sweat it, with our 20 brilliant hacks you can beautify,winter-proof, or maximize storage and utility with ease!
Be sure to leave your own favorite hacks in the comments section.

    1. Liven Up The Flooring With Vinyl

One of the perks of Airstreams is being able to haul your home with you wherever you go. In order to stay mobile you have to be mindful of the total weight of your trailer, especially for those of us who don’t have a Dodge Ram 3500 at our disposal for towing. One way you can be conscious of your Airstream’s weight while also revamping the style and overall feel of your home is with vinyl plank flooring. These days you can find tons of different styles at varying prices to match your budget and your ideal look.

     2. Lighten The Walls With Paint

Modern Airstreams differ from classic Airstreams by having an airy open feel. Lighten up your small space with bright vibrant wall paint. Painting over stripped aluminum is a project in itself but well worth the results.Apartmenttherapy.com shows us the astonishing difference wall paint makes! Bright whites, sunny pastels, and vivid tints can make all the difference in a small space!

    3. Give A Counter Top Face-lift

There are several routes to revamping your counter tops. Instead of going the traditional vinyl route, why not mix it up with stainless steel panels, wooden butcher blocks, or even concrete! I know what you’re thinking, “Concrete?! Isn’t that a little too heavy for the weight conscious?” vintagerevivals.com describes in detail how to create a smooth glass like counter top out of concrete only 1/8th of an inch thick which makes it light weight, durable, and stylish!

    4. Add A Drop-Leaf Counter Top Cutting Board

While we’re talking about counter tops let’s discuss drop-leafs. Airstreams are all about maximizing your space and using what little of it you have to the best of your abilities. Andybaird.com incorporates a cutting board into the drop-leaf counter top idea for even more brilliant space utilization!

    5. Add A Drop-Leaf Table

I don’t know about you but every now and then I need to dance. I’ll move my furniture out of the way, turn up my tunes, and dance until I just can’t anymore.  Littlethings.com is a fantastic example of a bohemian drop-leaf dinette that easily folds out of the way so you can get your groove on! BluemoonAistream.co achieves a heavy duty small drop-leaf table and incorporates the drop-leaf counter top cutting board above!

    6. Install A Folding Couch-Bed with Underfoot Storage

My college freshman dorm room, a 10ft x 12ft box of a room, was only livable because my roommate and I had two pullout couch beds with storage bins underneath. Maybe we insulated the storage bins with trash bags and used them as beer coolers. Maybe we didn’t realize our couches were in fact slide out beds until mid semester, but they were some of the comfiest couch beds a college freshman could ask for.  IamSamtheVan.com has a wonderful step by step tutorial for constructing your own folding couch bed with underfoot storage.

    7. Organize Utensils With Magnets

If your Airstream is aluminum paneled then you should make the most of magnets. Bluemoonairstream.co  found magnetic strips with glued backing ready to adhere to your walls from The Container Store. These strips are great for the curved walls of your Airstream.

    8. Use More Wall Space With Suction Cups

Hang shower caddies, hooks, shoe organizers, and more with suction cups- they work great with aluminum interiors and will hold your odds and ends all over the house!

    9. Install A Fashionable Wall Splash

Create a unique kitchen wall splash with laminate, chalkboard paint, or fancy tile.  Not only will this small tweak make a huge aesthetic difference but it also makes cleanup easier.
