  • Sell the Element — A True Niche Product

A Few Points on Selling the Element Difference

Completely Wood Free Travel Trailer–Built of composites, molded fiberglass, aluminum, steel and a host of other high-tech, sustainable materials, the Element is both environmentally friendly and built to last a lifetime. These materials assure the Element is ultra resistant to rot, mold or mildew that mark the demise of lesser, wood framed RVs.

Unique Look and Color Scheme–The customer can choose from four exterior color schemes: Timber Stone Brown, Vintage Red, Clear Water Blue and Arctic White. The Element is a fusion of styles between classic American automotive design and the latest in aerodynamic, European-inspired camping trailers.

Superior Unitized Body Construction Process–Lightweight, composite and panelized components fit tightly together, are fused and fastened to form a one piece outer shell shaped like no other. The seamless ComposiTek(TM) floor is vacuum laminated and secured to the chassis to support this structure. Seamless, vacuum-bonded components have a heavy gauge welded aluminum framing inside for added strength.

Compliant with OEM Frontal Area Towing Requirements–The Element is one of the few travel trailers on the market to meet the 60 square feet “frontal area towing requirements” of the OEM automotive manufacturers, thus, far exceeding the aerodynamic performance of conventional RVs.

  • New Element Travel Trailer is a Fusion of Classic American Automotive Design and Aerodynamic Euro-inspired Camping Trailers

Evergreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, the leading innovator in eco-friendly, sustainable all-composite travel trailers and fifth wheels, is proud to announce the unveiling of the next generation of American made, cutting edge recreational vehicles with its new Element product line.

EverGreen unveiled the phenomenal new Element travel trailers to rave reviews, at the 48th Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) Show in Louisville, Kentucky, November, 30 2010.

Unitized Body Construction Replaces Antiquated Framing

The departure of the Element from conventional recreational vehicles begins from the ground up. The Element frame is a highly engineered automotive-style chassis designed to be lightweight and extremely durable.

The AFT (Advanced Fulcrum Tracking) axle system provides balanced stability and true tracking on the road. This is possible through the use of lightweight composites and aluminum to reduce the tongue weight.

The durable, lightweight frame is engineered from automotive, High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel that yields the highest strength-to-weight ratio. The frame incorporates little to no welding that can crack or separate. Instead, Element frame components are secured with an intricate system of bolts and interlocking grooves to provide a stronger, lighter weight chassis. All frame components are protected with an automotive quality, electro-coating process that coats 100 percent of the frame to retard rust and corrosion.

The Element of Inspiration–A Fresh New Design

The Element is a fusion of styles between classic American automotive design and the latest in aerodynamic, European-inspired camping trailers. Built to be both environmentally friendly and stylish, the new Element is also built tough with EverGreen’s ComposiTek(TM) construction to last a lifetime.

Totally wood free, the Element is ultra resistant to rot, mold or mildew that mark the demise of most RVs. Sustainable composites make the Element eco-friendly and recyclable.

European styled windows are crafted of tinted acrylic to provide energy efficiency and privacy. The interior appointments of the Element are clean, functional and ready for the rigors of today’s most active family. Interior height is a surprising 84 inches.

    Unitized-Body, ComposiTek(TM) Construction

The unitized-body construction of the Element is much like nature’s exoskeleton. Lightweight, all-composite, panelized components fit tightly together and are then fused and fastened to form a one-piece outer perimeter shell that is stronger and more aerodynamic than conventionally built trailers.

All sustainable composite shell materials are impervious to moisture to eliminate rot, mold and mildew inherent with wood products. Durable composites, fiberglass and aluminum are engineered into a unitized body to enhance the strength of the entire unit as a whole.

The seamless ComposiTek(TM) floor is vacuum laminated and secured to the chassis to support the walls and roof panels. Seamless, vacuum-bonded components have a heavy gauge welded aluminum frame for added strength.

Aerodynamic and Lightweight for Easy Towing and Improved Performance

Weighing in at an approximate base of 3,300 pounds, the new 24 foot Element series can be towed by today’s mini vans or mid-sized SUVs. The ultra aerodynamic exterior of the Element is designed for improved fuel economy and straight tracking down the road. Advanced Fulcrum Tracking (AFT) is designed to reduce sway while towing.

The Element is one of the few travel trailers on the market to meet the 60 square feet “frontal area towing requirements” of the OEM automotive manufacturers. Defined as the total area of the trailer that is exposed to air resistance, the Element does not exceed 60 square feet–thus far exceeding the aerodynamic performance of conventional RVs. Conventional RVs exceed this limitation, significantly reducing the performance of tow vehicles.

Every EverGreen Element product is quality tested with a rigorous 100-point inspection program. The Element is built with the extensive EverGreen Warranty: Three (3) year limited structural, Two (2) year bumper-to-bumper warranty.

  • EverGreen Introduces i-Go Lite Travel Trailers Designed for Lightweight Towing and Economy Minded Camping Budgets

EverGreen’s new i-Go Lite travel trailers and fifth wheels offer families seeking a lightweight, easy towing trailer an affordable introduction into the innovative EverGreen Recreational Vehicles.

    i-Go Lite–An EverGreen for Everyone

“The concept of the i-Go Lite travel trailers and fifth wheels is to provide economy conscious camping families the opportunity to own a lightweight, quality-built EverGreen at a very affordable price,” states Doug Lantz, president and COO of EverGreen. “The i-Go is still crafted with the same aluminum-framed, vacuum-laminated processes and 100-point quality control systems as all our EverGreen products.

Lantz explains that by limiting the amount of composite materials to a lightweight inner shell, EverGreen was able to reduce the price on the new i-Go Lite series of trailers.

“Now everyone can own a quality EverGreen product,” concludes Lantz.

The Advantages of Owning an i-Go Lite by EverGreen

i-Go is lighter weight and easier to tow because of its narrower, seven-foot six-inch width. With less wind resistance, the i-Go tracks smoothly behind smaller tow vehicles such as half-ton pickups or mid-sized SUVs. The entire i-Go Lite series trailers are less than 30 feet in length and weigh less than 5,000 pounds.

Built better, yet more affordable with a fiberglass reinforced exterior skin, the i-Go still features EverGreen’s innovative, lightweight composite inner shell to reduce rot, mold and mildew. Composites also lower off-gassing of VOCs inside for a healthier camping experience.

EverGreen’s vacuum laminated composite construction is bonded onto a fully welded and reinforced aluminum frame. The combination of composite materials and vacuum lamination result in added durability and higher R-values. The i-Go is a true EverGreen at a more affordable price.

Deeper, 42-inch slide outs are above the wheel well to provide higher ground clearance. Six-inches deeper than the competition, i-Go Lite slides provide the living space of an eight foot trailer yet retain the towability of a seven and one half foot wide trailer. Slides are driven in all four corners with EverGreen’s quality, four-point, gear-driven system to provide smoother operation and a tighter seal.

Four New Floorplans are Now Available!

Four travel trailer floorplans are now available in the i-Go series. All four are less than 27 feet and weigh less than 5,000 pounds. The i-Go Lite slide outs are six-inches deeper than competitors’ providing the interior living space of an eight foot trailer with the towability of a seven and one half foot rig.

The new i-Go Lite floorplans G220RB and G236RBK are both rear bath models with roadside, center, deep slides with mid-kitchens, front bedrooms. The over-sized dinette/sleeper in the slide out measures 84 by 42 to sleep two adults comfortably and has under-drawer storage. In addition, the slightly larger G236RBK features a kitchen table inside and EverGreen’s popular Campfire Kitchenette–a full service outside kitchen with cooktop, refrigerator and food storage curbside.

The G239BH sleeps six with a queen bed, large dinette that converts to a full sized bed and an additional “bunk house” in the rear of the camper.

The model G249RB features a more open floorplan designed for entertaining with a large sofa bed in the slideout facing a dinette and a galley L-shaped kitchen with expanded counter space.

EverGreen eventually plans on offering five travel trailers and two fifth wheel floor plans in the i-Go camper series.

  • EverGreen Goes ‘Three for Three’ with Honors From the RV Dealers Association

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles was honored for the third year in a row with the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) Quality Circle Award. The announcement made July 28, 2011, prior to the “Celebrate Excellence: All-Industry Gala,” event on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. This event at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will recognize EverGreen Recreational Vehicles as a Quality Circle Award recipient.

The award results from manufacturers who received at least 15 dealer responses and a score of 80 percent or above in overall dealer satisfaction in the association’s 18th Annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.

“Our top priority at EverGreen is to be the benchmark for quality products and the best dealer support in the industry,” states Doug Lantz, president and COO of EverGreen. “As a company, winning this award for the third year in a row reinforces our commitment to excellence.”

Through their responses in the DSI, dealers established the EverGreen brand as having done an outstanding job of working with their retail partners over the past year.”

When rating their brands/manufacturers, RVDA asks dealers to express, confidentially, their level of satisfaction on eight core issues: sales support, sales territory, vehicle design, vehicle reliability/quality, competitive price/value, parts support, dealership warranty support and overall dealer communications.

  • Coach Resorts See Upturn on Alabama Coast

People are coming back to Alabama’s beaches, and a lot of them are driving high-end recreational vehicles.

The Press-Enterprise reported that six RV lots have sold in Bella Terra of Gulf Shores in the past two months, prompting developers to put the remaining 65 lots up for sale, according to Chuck Smith, a partner in the development. So far, 110 potential buyers have signed up to buy one of the lots, Smith said. Lot prices range from $120,000 to $170,000 for lakefront sites.

Bella Terra and another local development, Heritage Motor Coach Resort and Marina, cater to the Class A motor coaches. The resorts and parks that serve them sell campsites and rent them out when the owners are traveling.
RV lovers may own a million-dollar coach, but they parked the condominium on wheels when the economy slowed and prices at the gas pumps increased, RV sales agents said. Still, sales and rentals were going well last year until the BP oil spill hit in April and “everybody vanished,” Smith said. But in the last 60 days, sales and interest have increased, he said.

“People are coming back to the Gulf,” agreed Jim Howard, resort director at Heritage, on Bayou St. John in Orange Beach. “We had an awesome June. We sold 10 resort sites. We have now sold 46 of the 79 sites.”
Heritage sites start at $165,000. A waterfront site with a coach house or guest house can be as high as $409,000. That park includes a private, 42-slip marina.

Owning a half-million dollar RV is a lifestyle choice, Smith said. “Most of the owners are retired and generally have the means to invest in something they want. They love the resort. It’s a place they can call home when they’re not on the road.”

The final phase of 65 lots in 175-lot Bella Terra will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, he said, adding “Many, if not most on the list, have stayed at Bella Terra or heard of us.”

Howard said RV owners are seeing that if they don’t do something now, the lots won’t be there later.

“A lot of our clients come in and rent for a week and get addicted to the place and decide to buy a site,” Howard said.

  • “Days of our Lives” star Peter Reckell continues his support of all things green through appearance at, and purchase of Livin Lite Recreational Vehicle

Emmy-nominated actor, Peter Reckell single-handedly changed the face of daytime television with his creation of “Bo Brady”, the motorcycling rebel on NBC’s number one, longest running daytime program “Days Of Our Lives”. Reckell will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photos and support the environmentally-friendly CAMPLITE travel trailer line by LIVIN LITE Recreational Vehicles, as he take possession of a CAMPLITE model custom built for him on Sunday, June 26th. Reckell will help raise awareness for the all-aluminum constructed trailer at the appearance which will run from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the LIVIN LITE factory in Wakarusa, IN.

A devout environmentalist – bicycles, electric cars, conservation and recycling are a daily part of Peter’s life, and he can often be seen pedaling to work. His love of nature and concerns for the environment motivated him and his wife, singer Kelley Moneymaker to tear down their home and build and eco-friendly, fuel-efficient, solar-powered home, shipping the remains of their previous home to Mexico for reuse by Habitat for Humanity.

The LIVIN LITE eco-friendly CAMPLITE trailer is unique in that it is made entirely of aluminum and composites and contained no pressed woods or wood of any kind, making it 98% recyclable. • Thor Motor Coach’s A.C.E. 3rd Best Selling Gas Class A in April

Elkhart, IN – Today Thor Motor Coach released the latest Gas Class A model rankings from Statistical Surveys that named the single floor plan EVO29.1 A.C.E. Motorhome as the 3rd best selling motorhome for the month of April 2011. This follows the “Best of Show” award it earned at its debut a few months ago at the Louisville RV show. This is a clear sign that dealers, as well as retail customers, are pleased.

The EVO29.1 A.C.E. Motorhome was built with a focus on how a customer would use their coach. It offers the best features of a Class A and a Class C motorhome with an entry level price point. Retail customers are drawn to the clever features and innovative design. In short, it’s the answer to what many Class A and Class C shoppers want. President and CEO of Thor Motor Coach, Bill Fenech, responded to the A.C.E’s success stating, “It is very gratifying to see the retail success of the A.C.E. Motorhome. We took the blinders off in designing the A.C.E., and it’s a homerun. Our dealers love the product and many are commenting that it’s the best turning motorhome on their lot. Being #3 is encouraging; however we are more focused on building great products with great support. The numbers will follow.”

This same innovation and customer driven design is carried into the other Thor Motor Coach products. Thor Motor Coach strives to provide these “hot products” with a great emphasis on what retail customers are shopping for. This includes intelligent floor plans, a clever use of space, as well as industry leading exterior storage as illustrated by the Mega Storage feature offered on several products. Thor Motor Coach also offers an abundance of standard features at entry level price points and provides superior “after the sale” support. “We want to be everything to everybody, by offering an extraordinary value for your family.” Explained Dana Simon, Vice President of Gas Sales for Thor Motor Coach. He continued with what’s next, “Building on the success of the EVO29.1 with the EVO29.2.”

Thor Motor Coach will continue the evolution with the EVO29.2 A.C.E. Motorhome, which is set to be introduced in the coming weeks. With many territories left undefined and recently partnering with several new dealerships; Thor Motor Coach believes the evolutionary features of the “open concept” EVO29.2 floor plan with its enclosed bathroom will push the A.C.E’s success even further.
